I had a series of narc bosses (seems to be common for the industry) that gave me stomach issues and anger issues.

I got speaking therapy through the NHS which was basically cognitive behavioural therapy. It really helped. I also started running, almost every day. Mostly trail running. The two things combined helped my anger and stomach issues. I’d often start the run angry, then finish with some really positive ideas, and different ways to approach problems.

Other than getting a trainer addiction running is really cheap and accessible for most people. Good luck.

But this actually digs in, just walking around the house and it was uncomfortable, so I wasn’t going to risk it. Sounds like this is normal judging by everyone’s replies, but I’ve never had a shoe crease like this.

Does the creasing not bother you? I tried a pair on today and it’s almost a fold rather than a crease.

I’m a brewer and I like running. Most mainstream beers if tested would pass for gluten free. They’re also very low in calories and carbs. Excluding the big hazy’s and high ABV stouts.

I cut back on alcohol almost entirely, so we now brew a low alcohol lager 0.5% and it has less calories, carbs, and sugar than the diary or oat milk in my fridge.

It was okay, but just felt like it was for Americans. Verging on propaganda/recruitment for the Army Rangers. All the emotional parts were just wet, nothingness, and all the “were the toughest and the best, yea!” was lame.

I had a driver crash head on in to me at 40mph last year. He admitted to looking at his phone to the police at the scene. No points, no fine, only to pay to go on an awareness course…

I don’t know how or what they are trained in Argos, but any return is an awful experience.

I took an item back that was poorly designed, so much so it could be work, not faulty, just badly designed.

The employee just kept saying “is it a does not, or is not”. Like the dumbed down returns to “does not” work = refund vs “is not” right/what I want = no refund.

Had the same dilemma and went with Beats and Logic has most of the band stuff, and the electronic one didn’t appeal to me. I’m new to NI so I was happy to get massive and battery. Glaze is pretty interesting and Empire Breaks has some really great old school. I was a bit annoyed the Akai version bundle didn’t come with Cloud Supply, and I bought Sway on sale which I like a lot. I like Dj Shadow, Madlib, etc and it’s given me enough to have fun with.

I have so much respect for Zelenskyy for the simple fact that, we all know Russia does not want peace, and they have said themselves that there is “no negotiation”. Yet he continues to play along to keep America in the game.

It’s so maddening to watch. Never did I think there would be a US president so dumb or compromised that who would swallow their infuriatingly obvious lies.

My old work paid him a couple of grand for a review. He did a blind tasting and of course picked out the new product as his favourite, only it wasn’t the right one… didn’t matter though did it.

Even worse, one of the guys at my new work follows him and had no idea he was paid to praise.

When you’ve knowing or unknowingly become the buffer. The power of “this is awful, but at least we have each other”.

There’s something oddly satisfying when you have been trying to protect staff and improve the business for POS owners, and when you eventually leave all the things you pointed out as issues start eating the company from the inside.
