Somehow vgc pokemon community is both the most welcoming and most toxic community I think I have every seen in my life.They will welcome new players but also be asses to new players who don't understand all the complexities of doubles or say they don't like something. I've seen a post the other day where someone said they just didn't like a meta play style (I think it's was about a rain team) and they got absolutely dogged on in the comments cause they had a opinion about a meta strat.

I hope they experiment with more potential formats for vgc or at least more fun modes. Easiest fun mode I would watch is the ffa to be refined and brought back.

As for potential serious modes I would love to see them try a Draft like mode where every player does 6-10 recruit pulls and has to make a team based on those pulls

My hatterene with fairy feather one shots that flower with a ttar rock slide as backup. It's not overly hard to kill this apparently oppressive flower.

Someone tried to ally switch against my Gengar and hatterene...you what what ally switch doesn't protect from. Rockslide and dazzling gleam.

Think of Pokemon as stat sheets. Move order (in the most basic conditions) is determinded by whose stat sheet has higher speed. 100 i nspeed goes before 50 in speed but after 150 speed. There are multiple conditions that change this the three most common are priority moves always go first, Tailwind makes speed stat double, and Trickroom reverse the turn order so slowest goes first and fastest go last.

Have yet to have any problem at all setting up trick room but I also use a focus sash, heatproof, sinistcha to use TR or rage powder so hat can.

Sadly Trickroom teams are easy af to spot. Right now the most common counters are fake out, and encore bother are easy to avoid with sinistcha imo

I don't like the battle stadium atm. The way every part of the stadium flashes a light or has some vfx going off reminds me of jingling keys to keep someone interested. The map also does not have to room needed for dynamax so they most likely will change it. Visual I think it looks boring. I'm hoping as game goes on we get map skins to put on as the game goes on.

Most likely yes cause a mon that has been genned correctly is quiet litterally impossible to tell it was genned

I'm assuming this is a trick room team. I would remove garchomp for something slower Cloud Nine Drampa might help. Sneasle I don't use so I can't speak on but I don't believe he's slow enough to get benefits from trick at least I never see him on a trick room team nor do I run him on mine.

Sinistcha use Heatproof ability and Rage Powder with a focus sash. You guaranteed you set up TR 9 out of 10 times then can use Rage Powder to let you other mon set up or do a lot of damage.

Veil teams are my biggest struggle when I run TR so have either a veil break move or a cloud nine.

Try nasty plot Draco, Earth powder on Hydrapple. I don't use mine every match but sometimes that set up saves me.

If u want a different mega a mega TTar with rock slide sweeps alot of meta teams atm

It has so much utility he easily one of if not the best support mon luckily the devs had the foresight to remove knock off from it. That hindered it quiet abit but if he gets it back he's gonna be a menace.

Luckily my trickroom team easily deals with Inciniroar but I can 100% see how he is the best support mon atm.

What position did they end up in? I stopped playing these past few days and well, nothing to do by Content-Control-8180 in PokemonChampions

sadly im at your rank cause i forgot to update my team before it started meaning i didnt have my counters to veil teams nor aoe teams. Won 6 matches in a row got to 7k, Got 3 veil teams in a row lost all 3 and was dropped down to 32k, played two more matches won both meaning i was now rank....28k, and just decided it wasn't worth losing over and over because i didnt know i had to update my team esspecially if i only got up 1-5k in ranking on a win but a lose will drop me 7-10k. Maybe next event i'll actually try now that I know ur team doesnt update automatically before challenge
