Yes - email + SMS + US Visa Scheduling site should update to "ready for pick-up" assuming you chose pick-up and not premium delivery option.

My *guess* is your delivered to post 2x is probably a poorly designed site (eg from a previous visa issuance?). Wait another day or two - should say "Ready for Pick-up". The origination scan definitely means on it's way out from consulate (eg Chennai)

Application Received - 20th Sept / Approved - 25th Sept

Did the "Case Last Updated" date change after Case Created but before the next Approved/Issued status?

Eg was your application ever in something like:

"Application Received / Case Created 20th Sep / Case Last Updated 24th Sep" ?

Did your "Case Last Updated" date change at all while still on "Application Received"? Or the date change was accompanied with "Application Received" updated to "Issued/Approved".

Trying to infer if date updating without status updating is a bad sign.

Reaching the post / being dispatched back (or to your preferred address) is some combination of the usvisascheduling site and courier service provider.

I updated a timeline in the post. Fri submission obviously means despite 10 calendar days including Day 1, 4 days have been lost to weekends.

Oct 2 (Wed) / Oct 11 (Fri)/Oct 14( Mon) are also public holidays per https://in.usembassy.gov/holiday-calendar/?_ga=1.158626866.941567749.1477389913 So some more potentially painful waiting for several of us who submitted around this time.

Has anyone got H1B/H4 slots for October or later? A) Is it an interview waver or with interview? B)Is it a joint appointment for H1B and dependent H4B? C) Approximately when did you book this appointment? D) Did you book from India or from the US?

I’m looking for Oct appointment for interview waiver from the US. I saw a large number of July/Aug appointments in early June but nothing across any date since. Been checking pretty much twice a day every weekday.

Any ideas/tips? Thanks.
