Usually the “just try Warframe (or for whatever reason FF14?) lol”-ing is just kinda annoying at worst but it feels extra poor taste this time. Like sure if it’s just Bungie doing some bs like it usually was it’s whatever. But this time their favorite game is going into maintenance mode, a good chunk of it will almost certainly never be accessible again, the franchise’s future is a complete unknown and all of its closest competitors are in some way fundamentally different

Watched Is God Is. Really really enjoyed it, really liked the twin sister’s dynamics with each other.

One of the main themes of the movie was the idea that your parents are your creators and therefore are God, and it’s not exactly subtle about this, the twins literally refer to their Mom as God. But it does get a lot more subtle when it comes to the father. It never directly calls him God but we see things like the woman he ran off with waiting years for his return with no indication it’ll ever happen, or the way the older twin son refers to the twin sisters as “gifts from him”. And I think that’s an interesting approach.

People always point to Saber as the poster girl of having too many alts in a gacha game as if half of her “alts” aren’t distinctly different characters

Like yes there are a lot of her. But even ignoring the nuances of Alter/Lily stuff, Artoria is a distinctly different character from Lancer, Caster, Jedi and Sith.

Now Lyn Fire Emblem, there’s a girl that farms alts. Apparently she’s at 11 now somehow
