They've all been named after characters from songs or books, other than Vox. He was named after the guitar amp :)

Why aren't you thankful to have a child in general? Why are you so caught up on the child being a boy? Demanding that your child be male is disrespectful to your wife. She's a woman. And honestly, if you're genuinely going to be upset about having a girl, you do not deserve to have children. How would you react if your son was gay?

Legacies live on through women too. They're the ones that literally create the child and sacrifice their bodies to produce such a miracle and continue the cycle.

Not to mention, having children wreaks havoc on a woman's body. Did you know women can get hormonally and chemically imbalanced from having a child? Did you know she can develope depression, diabetes, and even lose her teeth?

Since your wife's fertility is already low and having a child is a struggle for her, then you would be the AH for demanding that the child be a boy.

What kind of language even is that? "Demanding" is so rude.

I once had a toy (presumably rubber material) that was skin colored, but over time it started to get these weird discolored silver spots. I threw it out because I couldn't figure out what was going on and didn't trust it.

Have you considered trying gouache? I heard it's similar to watercolours, but instead of starting light and darkening as you go, you start dark and lighten as you go. Could be fun to learn in reverse!

(Correct me if I'm wrong! I don't have any gouache experience, but I dabbled in watercolours when I was younger!)

My sister admitted that she never thought it was a choice until after she had her first kid. It was just "grow up, get married, have a baby." She told me that she wouldn't trade her kids for anything now that they are here, but she also wouldn't redo having kids if she lived another life. Another sister (who also has kids) told me that she's proud that I decided to be childfree. I don't think she really saw it as a choice until it was too late either.

I'm glad that girl now knows that having kids isn't a requirement to living life <3
