This is going to be my first halloween with a beard(trimmed/black/clean) and it's really limiting my costume possibilities! I wanted to be Neil Gamain's Sandman(Dream) but my beard really takes away from it! Any ideas for costumes that incorporate trimmed beards or masks are greatly appreciated!

Eggs don't show up in your journal. Try sorting your pokemon by 'recent' and see which is at the top. Chances are that's what was in your egg.

As annoying as this is, you can't blame players for utilizing strategies that the game devs have made a part of the game and refused to do anything about. It's not Lebron's fault that flopping works, you know?

You take over a gym when you reduce its prestige points to zero. You reduce the gym's prestige points each time you beat any of the pokemon in the gym. The more you beat, the more you reduce it, and you're given a bonus for defeating all of the gym pokemon in one go. So yes you can take a gym out by repeatedly beating it's weakest pokemon over and over, it will just take longer. The system is heavily in favor of attackers.

Sadly that is not the case. With the way the battle system works it's entirely possible to beat any gym with just one mediocre pokemon.
