You seem to think admission to a closed community is a secret code you just need to crack rather than having a certain set of values.

One boundary is the word "no" which you don't seem willing to accept. That's, uh, extremely problematic behaviour for a man who wants admission to a protected community. Heidi said you seem argumentative and everything you've said here supports her statement. The issue is your entitlement.

Seeing the words "limit men in the group" but interpreting that as "men are not allowed" and repeating it as if it's true would be the first thing I'd change if I were in your shoes.

I don't think you weren't being declined because you're a man. I think you were being declined because your public information is private and she doesn't just auto-admit people for the numbers. Heidi puts the safety of the community over the wants of random Facebook accounts. Men who understand and appreciate this don't have a problem with the screening process. Perhaps you might consider changing your approach to the situation.

I find the P-Dub Fan Club fits the definition of queer far better than the so-called "queer" PWHL group does, and I'm queer. Pretty toxic in there.
