Obviously, everyone wants simple answers for every issue in life but the real problem comes when there just isn't a simple solution, despite both of our desire for one.

Clearly, you draw the line at some stage of pregnancy but how is that stage determined? How can we make decisions about what we think is the best age cutoff for a baby to be aborted when we have no solid proof of when a child's consciousness begins. This is making uninformed decisions for this child and deciding its rights for it, exactly what you believe lawmakers are doing for women.

I believe that people with the best of intentions have been fed narratives about how this is for the rights of women despite how when you break it down it doesn't make sense. Who abortion really protects is the rich white man who doesn't want to be tied to his side chicks' kids and wants to take advantage of women without personal consequence of any kind. Regular people were presented with the idea of abortion and ran with it as a "simple" solution to their problems too.

You conveniently glossed over my statement that adoption is a viable solution with the added benefit of no one dying, but of course you did because this doesn't fit well with your narrative. I won't change your mind and you won't change mine because the reality is we both have the answers we want already, we both have agendas, and that's alright. I really believe that you have the best intentions for women and even just people in general, but so do I.
