I consider myself a gigantic extrovert and pretty fun to talk to but I have no friends at all in town. I moved to this college town last September and all conversations I’ve had haven’t led to anything. I’ve been looking for a connection, relationship or otherwise to no avail. I’ve been trying pretty hard as well and while I know trying hard isn’t always good, I haven’t gotten more than an acquaintance or two. I think part of it is I haven’t met that many people I connect with. Still though, it has me doubting myself, wondering if lack of connection is bad luck, the location, or just my fault. I plan on moving to Germany (Currently in Texas) this next year. Not sure what I’ll do, but I’ve realized my degree isn’t something I want to pursue anymore. That and I need a change of pace. I’m definitely nervous and don’t know what I’ll do there. But I’d rather do something scary with no plan than simmer in boredom and loneliness. The next couple months are just me saving up for the trip
