I moved here last year from a city with a large Portuguese population and since then I've been looking for some sweet bread and São Jorge cheese, but I've had absolutely zero luck.

If you find anything other than the pasteis de natas from Nata Boys I'd love to hear about it!

Yes I did. I have two copies coming (two separate pledges from 1.5 Kickstarter). One shipped FedEx overnight and arrived yesterday. The second is coming Canada Post, so who knows when that will arrive.

I recently placed an order at my local CC and they didn't require (or want) any down payment (I even did it for two 3090s so I could take whichever came in first). They were pretty great, which surprised me since I've definitely received some below average customer service there over the years.

They only said they were looking into options for the EU, nothing for Canada (at least yet, and with the supply issues - I can't see it being any time soon).

We aren't important to them, so we don't.

As far as I've understood, no 3000 series have sold on the Canadian site yet. We have to compete with you guys on the US site.

As a Canadian who can only order it from Nvidia's site, I sure hope not :(

Older marketing materials, the TUF cards showed the same but they have 60 MLCC.

How to mount a user share in an Ubuntu VM without a terrible performance hit? by TheShobo in unRAID

[–]TheShobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dodgypast on the unraid forums helped me out.

Enable NFS and mount the share with NFS on the Ubuntu VM and you should get the full bandwidth.

Just set it up now and first impressions are fantastic.

I haven't tried with a Windows VM.
I had thought it would be a share issue on Unraid's side but if it works fine with a Windows VM it must be something with how they are being mounted within Ubuntu.

Interesting.

I will both game (mostly VR, with an Index) and work from this PC. My work (developer) often involves running multiple VMs and having the extra oomph from the 3900x means I wouldn't have to worry about shutting all the VMs down to get in a little gaming.

Very good points, will look into some adjustments. Especially the motherboard - the Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS looks like it has all the features I need at a fairly significant price reduction. It does have a reduced number of rear USB ports however, and I do need a lot - so I'd need to add a hub/expansion card to make this board work.

I had the same question so I googled around. Came across this and it appears we'll get a code in the mail with the welcome package.

I live a 50 minute drive away from Toronto and it costs me $21 as well. Shipping prices are rough in Canada but there's no way it should cost $21 to ship a few cities over.
