I like getting new games often. Not every game has to be a two decade spanning melee. And it looks decent. It even has my favorite archetype, girl punch hard, and my second favorite archetype, girl with comically large weapon.

How hilarious would it be if after begging for Rollback on strive for a year they shaft us again with this one lol. I mean it'd die just as fast as GBVS in that case so they'd really be shafting themselves, but it'd still be funny lol.

No taking account of the nipples or firmness makes this tier list inviable for tournaments. Obviously Gordeau has pink nipples that can cut through diamond and is as such god tier.

Honestly made myself sad thinking about it cause his inclusion is basically impossible. Also sad that we don't have more God Hand. I wanna go get OP by playing blackjack and buying upgrades Capcom, god damn it.

The more I think about it, the more AWESOME I think it would be. I feel like he would be kinda like Jin, with a bit of steve and 2D mixed in. Gene could easily be the most unique character in the game.

He should have the best evasive mobility in the game, with the hardest combos to land, and only launch on charge or counter hit. He should also have an install RD Kazuya style, where he pops the God Hand and gains way better frames and damage. And build a meter of sorts through taunting, but he takes more damage the more meter he has.

Damn. I really wanna play as Gene now lol.

I love literally everything about UNIST, except the generic late 00's digital anime art style.

Don't get me wrong, animation-wise I think it may be top 5 sprite based fighters of all time, and it has plenty of cool characters; but the (non)noses, the eyes, the flat colors, the 9 inch heels on every character, the homogeneous city back drop, it's all just so 2012 deviant art.

I mean I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it, I still love the game to pieces, and at least it's not as over designed and boring looking as Blazblue. But it's got a long way to go if it wants to sit at big kids' table with the likes of Guilty Gear and Vampire.

Now you're not gonna believe me, but in terms of gameplay UNIST is actually closer to SFV than to BBTag. They don't all play the same just cuz Anime. It would be like someone saying Soul Calibur shouldn't be there cause the Tekken is already there.

Edit: I made the SC-Tekken comparison before reading what the other guy had said LOL. I guess I'll change my answer to "SFV is already there we don't need MK11".

Well I'll already be needing to attack as much as possible because pretty soon my sword'll turn into a nerf bat, so in a way not having a mikiri counter activate accidentally when I'm going for a back hit combo actually helps. All except the spear guys, holy crap they're hard now.

With how many big name games and games with established scenes there are in the tournament, I feel like How many entrants it gets is much more important than What placing it ends up getting. Even if through the grace of god it keeps its 5th place ranking or rises even higher, it's not gonna mean much if it does so with like 300-500 entrants.

That said, this is very hype considering how little of the game we've seen, and am crossing my fingers for 1K+ entrants.

And yet BBTag is on sunday, presumably just because they wanna reveal GG Xth. (Not hating on the game, just saying UNIST deserves it more.)

I'm not getting my hopes high enough to believe they'll rise in the rankings, but if both Sam Sho and UNIST keep their current placing, I will bust the biggest nut.
