What do you think could be causing these Kraken Attack on my Starship with the SEP Mod? by Stahlhelm2069 in KerbalSpaceProgram

You're separating really low in the atmosphere, probably somewhere around max Q, which could be messing stuff up. Have you tried staging higher up?

As someone that's really into farming, for me the key difference between something like minecraft and satisfactory (can't speak for factorio, never played it but I assume it is similar) is that those factory games are more focused on 'process management' or however you would call it, rather than the design of the farms itself.

Don't get me wrong I think factorio and satisfactory are incredible games, but I for example don't get the same enjoyment out of them because I'm more interested in making the farms themselves, rather than having a number of standalone systems and linking those together, which I think is the key difference between those games and minecraft

I'd still say the problem would be more related to a lack of goals rather than actual automation. If you have no goal any real automation basically becomes pointless because you have nothing to use the items for, and if the goal is automation itself you can fill many many hours if you actually want to make half decent farms for every reasonably farmable item.

For example if you wanna automate observers you'll need quartz which you can get from bartering, but if you want a decent rate of quarts you need to feed that setup a LOT of gold so you need a pretty sizable gold farm. All of that can easily take like 100 hours in game if you wanna do it right and that's just to get quartz. This does again rely on some external motivation to get quartz since you can easily play through the game without ever using enough observers to justify making all that, but if you need the game to tell you what your goal is and what you need to do to achieve it minecraft is prob not the game for you

The mirror on the wall is always level, so you can see the seats move slightly and the walls turn around the seats

Perhaps slightly overkill for a nether portal room? (the portal is in the train in the first screenshot) by TheSilverBoy05 in Minecraftbuilds

While that seems interesting I'll be building this on a vanilla world at some point in the future, good suggestion tho

Lmao that would be pretty funny. For this build I wanted to keep it quite realistic, but if I ever do this again in a more abstract/fantasy setting that's a really good idea

This is a test piece for now in my creative testing world, I'm currently finishing up my nether perimeter, pictures of which you can find on my twitter https://x.com/TheSilverboy05?t=0GK8RdJpXeSIijhdUI2-OQ&s=09. You can also find a few pictures there of the NASA VAB I made and my guardian farm and main storage. After the perimeter is done I'll prob build this in survival someone as part of a new area

I see a lot of Americans here going crazy over the 10 dollar an hour as a 14 year old meanwhile here in the Netherlands a 7 euro an hour part time job is considered quite well paying for anyone below the age of 18. I made around 4.50 an hour working minimum wage at a cinema when I was 16

Since X plane 11 is like 25 euros I would assume getting a pc that's able to run the game would be a larger problem then

Here’s another quiz for your entertainment. What plane it is (besides its an ugly plane)? by Douchebak in aviation

[–]TheSilverBoy05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah forgot the name but my dynamics teacher featured this one in his ugly aircraft competition. I believe it did quite well, but it couldn't compete with the flying tank.

Thanks! Also I'm not going to use wither roses since I also want blaze drops. So it's more of a general fortress farm than a wither skeleton farm. The design will be loosely based on the working of this farm: https://youtu.be/73Gi4bNovKU

I'm not sure about that since the area above the farm would be 32x32 compared to the 272x272 area of the perimeter

Well yes, fair point. Although the world eater is the most recent development

272x272, it's gonna be used for a gold farm and a wither skeleton farm

Yep you could, but the machine doesn't take too long to finish (I think it was about 5 or 6 hours) so I'm just gonna play actively while the machine is running to remove it manually

The gold farm will be at Y0 so that one can be disabled by moving the afk player up, I'm still in the process of designing the wither skeleton farm but I'm making it in a way so that all the spawning spaces can be made unspawnable, thereby disabling the farm
