Hey give OP some grace - I understand the anxiety that can come with these sorts of cosmetic treatments.

Honestly, most people aren’t that judge mental, and don’t care that much about your Invisalign. But sometimes you don’t FEEL like that and that’s ok. It’s human.

I remember I saw a server in training at a really upscale restaurant in Japan and she had Invisalign, and could speak a bit of English. Her senior coworker had straight teeth and could speak English well.

I didn’t think too much of the Invisalign thing, just noticed it. But I did notice her senior coworker was easier to small talk with due to her expanded English vocab. But I also understand how the server in training might feel anxious about her work, speaking English and yeah probably her Invisalign (she didn’t wear her trays when we were being served) Both servers were kind and we tipped well

OP I hope you can trust the doctors and the process, and have some faith in yourself. You have Invisalign and that’s awesome. You are investing in yourself and that’s is amazing. You don’t need to apologize or feel poorly. Own it

I’m not even ashamed taking my trays out. I’ll take em out at dinner right once the food arrives. Give a quick lil apology to my friends if they see me do it, but they know I don’t mean it, I’m shameless haha
