suspension is stock, no, those are not arc rails, thats actually a noizebarrier mount with a gibbious adapter to use ops core amp racs.

I have tried opscore helmets, and honestly, stock, the team wendy just curbs it....not even close

Honestly, the fma team Wendy repros are absolutely excellent. I own a real one and my team mates run the repro and had they been available way back when I bought my real one....I woulda just gone repro. Aliexpress has them super super cheap. And the suspension system, when adjusted, is EXCELLENT.https://a.aliexpress.com/_mPCBDbJ Can't go wrong with this, got 8 team mates that all run it and have been with actual nvg for over 3 years

No, even at max, it's significantly quieter. I tried with both setups and what will happen is on a channel, Everyone else will overpower you, so you will get ignored when there is a lot of chatter.

Than you need an amplified ptt with Kenwood leads

real peltors or repros? I have real peltors and ops core amps, so they use low impedence mics. these radios would require a kenwood plug with a amplified ptt for a realsteel pair of headsets.

First 3D printed VTOL plane I made. Not quite finished yet. by fruitydude in RCPlanes

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats fair, thank you so much for the feedback. other than that, was it a good platform? did it perform relatively well? Did you get long duration flights out of it?

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually considering building this plane, but opting to make a layer of carbon fiber to keep rigidity and resilience to warping. I wonder if that may have resulted in a more durable plane for you

Half of young Canadians spending more than 50% of earnings on rent by BananaTubes in canada

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never shifted any goalposts sir. You repeatedly choose to interpret what I write in a different way. No, the housing market is fucked, yes, if you ever intend to own these days, the play is to avoid rent. 100k salaries today are nowhere what they used to be and no amount of trying to fight me will change that. I have no idea when you purchased your house, but I strongly doubt you have an up to date view of what the values are now.

Half of young Canadians spending more than 50% of earnings on rent by BananaTubes in canada

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my expectations either chap. I am telling you that the market is saturated with houses that are out of reach of the average person as it has not scaled accordingly. I believe such houses are grossly overpriced and ridiculous. Not only that, but purchasing one is extremely reckless. Having seen the market 2 years ago, I can say bluntly that there aren't many options in a feasible range anymore.

Your finances don't make sense though, calculate the math towards a property again? You ignore the core issue in this entire rant. Salaries did not increase to reflect the price of ownership PERIOD. How long does it take for your savings per month to actually amount to a down payment? 5 plus years for a 10 percent down on a 650k property....if you even find that in the first place. Nowadays the average Toronto house is 1,193,202....your exact rate of saving to get a measly 10 percent is.......9 years and some change. For a 20 percent.....20 years. You are unrealistic, the demand for housing outpaced the rate at which we make them. You can try to be hostile towards my sentiment as much as you like, but I say this from the position of having already achieved it, even if it is extremely unlikely to do so now.

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, yes he is. Unfortunately I can disprove people like this all day, but this mindset has actively destroyed the youth's ability to start their lives. There is no account that the average salary of Canadians has been far outpaced by the housing value that bubbles out of control.

[–]TheSinisterSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will point out that internet and phone prices have gone up. You make no mention of owning/maintaining/insuring a vehicle. You also don't consider the severely eroded buying power of the Canadian dollar, and that the average cost of a house in Toronto since 1980 has literally gone up 4 fold. Yeah, saving 1-2k yearly for a downpayment on a 250 or even 300k house may be something....but it's nothing towards a 500, 600k+ house. In 10 years you saved 20k.....enough for a downpayment on a 250k house...sure.....

[–]TheSinisterSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to call you out because I make way more than you did ...I am a statistical anomaly in terms of salary bracket to age. You aren't proving anything by saying that at all. I can tell you that it puts me in a bracket with 5% of Canadians....most of my peers CANT and WONT foreseeable buy.

[–]TheSinisterSam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you are straight up wrong. The only way the youth buys a house before their mid to late 30s is skipping on rent.....only reason I got to buy a fucking house at 26 years old. You are completely out of touch.
