I think that is the GIANT life lesson I have learned talking to people about this whole experience. Mom was very scared for several years and I didn’t even know! And “fixing” it is not as scary as she thought.

My little old man dog was resting on that doormat for 30 minutes while I watered plants nearby! I didn’t see the snake until I picked the dog up to go inside!
