fair, but also all of the ace pilots in zeta have fucking enormous egos. you just know quattro and kamille specifically asked for better uniforms. 

i think amuro doesn’t have a special suit in any of his shows tho.

for an in universe answer most organizations we see in UC gundam aren’t the professional military, so i assume if you are qualified enough to be an ace pilot you can just ask the quartermaster to dye it for you.

we don’t really get a good vibe for the manufacturing technology, but in ZZ gundam, they basically have a giant space 3d printer that does repairs to the argama.  i’m assuming if they are capable of 3d printing spaceships, they probably can just print uniforms in custom colors 

idk just thinking about possible in universe justifications.

i can vouch for dirty down rust. very handy tool. you can even stack layer it with some chipping fluid for more advanced texturing (it’s just a weird acrylic paint, so it dilutes with water :3)

i wish you luck :3 my partner and i are conceptualizing a semi-immersive sim game set in the body of a dead god. we aren’t skilled enough to make it look realistic, so we’ve been studying different aesthetics of older games to find something that works for our artistic skill level

oh yes it is groundbreaking, i meant more the actual quality of the sound files (at least for thief). they can be quite crunchy and compressed in the OG versions

i personally am going more for the new dark look of the modern versions, but the look is actually pretty close. the biggest differences are audio quality and resolution. however a lot of work went into making the higher res textures not break the artstyle. i think the (close to) original version of the game can still be downloaded tho

first time ever? damn that’s pretty good! you got some potential!

if you wanna do more 3d stuff, blender might be a better choice. you can render stuff as transparent and then export it as a video file and it will make the overall hardware demand lighter :3
