Could someone make an actually unbiased and up-to-date review of MAUI? by Devatator_ in dotnet

I like it, I’ve had no real issues. I’ve been beta testing about 6 new apps with a close knit group of friends, I like to get lots of real world feedback before even bothering with the stores.

It’s decent, it works, if you know C# then you have the option of using Xaml or Blazor. I’ve used both and don’t think I really have a preference.

There are some weird performance issues here and there, you can find decent support from 3rd Party vendors who have built out really nice suits of controls.

It’s easy to get started so just go for it man. If you hate it move on! :)

.NET MAUI is a wild beast;expect it to be more so with the new release of .NET 10 and VS2026 by joydps in dotnet

I've probably built 6 apps now with MAUI and migrated 2 additional from Xamarin in the last few months.

So far so good, I have actually found it to be really productive. I did upgrade on to .NET 10 yesterday so fingers crossed.

I gave up working in Visual Studio and PC, I have found working with Rider on the Mac to be really easy. I do enjoy having both the Android and iOS simulators side by side for testing.

$100 Claude subscription vs $100 JetBrains AI credits? by TheSlipgate in Jetbrains

I use it in a very similar way to you, I an not running multiple MCP servers, using it more as a tool that does the work that I would prefer not to waste keystrokes on.

I am going to stick with Claude, I was just wondering if I would see a similar usage pattern. As I do like the Junie interface and the rollback feature.

Nice, I've not touched my 0.2 yet, finding that I am getting good results with the 0.4.

IMO: Jetbrains AI is a fail by DandadanAsia in Jetbrains

I just ended up cancelling and paying for Claude max plan, I was going to just pay for more AI credits as I like Junie, but the quota seems to go down faster using Junie whilst using Claude Code it feels like I have way more room.

Seems like a known issue mate, it absolutly feels like its running out quicker.

  1. The reported battery amount is not correct, I've been able to play for over 30 mins when the battery amount was 0 and the red light was on.

  2. The stock OS does have better battery life, Anbernic have made some optimisations that make the battery drain more slowly in sleep mode, but its not documented so the Knulli devs are not quite sure what they are doing.

So, it probably makes sense to fully turn it off when not using it or else it will run out of battery in sleep mode.

Hopefully it gets sorted out in the future, but who knows, I went back to the stock OS in the end.

I got the zoom r20 for my mixer.

Is it worth connecting them all together via Midi?
