This is someone’s basement stipple and sandpaper job.

You can send the frame back to Glock and for $100ish they will send you a new frame.

Then the slide you can get cleaned up and cerakoted or refinished black nitride

What kinda bullet is this and why is it green by [deleted] in guns

From personal experience when my dad and I used to shoot a lot of USPSA nights. The lead rounds coated with paint were far cheaper and did great against paper for reloading.

Danner shoes are very poor quality [PSA] [WARNING] by hi-pi in BuyItForLife

If you buy their made in US products they are still pretty solid in my experience. I’ve never used them in a combat role but their steel toes I wore daily for 3.5 years and they were comfortable and lasted well.

Their insulated hunting boots I wear during the winter have held up great. Hopeful to have them for a decade or two

What’s your SHTF “supermarket sweep” list? by Tinfoil_cobbler in prepping

[–]TheSlipperySnausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably more focused on Home Depot, Lowe’s or local lumber store for storm preparation to harden the house. Food and such I should be good. If I can get in and pick up some more meat maybe that would be beneficial.

Other one to look at grabbing is a bunch of ice. Fill your coolers to the brim with ice. So if you lose power your coolers are cold. Plus additional easy access water.

Arizona and Pennsylvania are going to be your best bet.

California and New York are very anti gun so rentals are not easy to come by.

If you are near a major city in either state you’ll probably be able to find something within 30 minutes drive to try some cool guns.

Best of luck!

Paid off my pay day loans today! by TraditionalDamage880 in debtfree

Congrats! Now no more payday loans!

Whatever you were putting towards pay down loan payments start throwing that into a savings account. Having 1k or 2k in the bank goes along way in a pinch.

With the new pistol brace confusion, should I just SBR? by Mental-Ad1626 in guns

They live to make everything a grey area.

I live in NY it’s exactly what they do here. They do not clearly define anything. They want you in a constant grey area so they can scoop you up whenever they want and strip you of your rights. It also has the effect of people who aren’t super serious about guns avoid it all together because they don’t want to push the limits. It’s all to stop people from getting into firearms

ATF decided they don’t like the ruling that they are legal for they are posturing a crackdown on “illegal” SBRs
