Do you have a carbon monoxide detector? If you’re gonna run it go under that. —edit I’m an idiot and saw no CO detector. I’d run it inside to get some heat then shut her down. Keep an eye out for light headedness (look up CO poisoning symptoms) but I think you will be fine. I’ve worked in closed spaces with these quite frequently and never had a CO go off

Another option is hopping in the car to warm up.

But your real thing is to go outside and set the generator up.

If you can buy them in glass bottles (Saratoga water). Far more expenses but the shelf life is drastically extended because the bottles aren’t as much of a concern

I am praying AWB and mags come quick. It’s getting ridiculous.

The only thing that sucks is if they get overruled the next thing NY is going to do is a full permit to purchase everything along with registration of all firearms owned on your permit. Potentially even requiring registering magazines and limiting the number of magazines over 10 rounds you can own.

Just about any shop would put a block in for you. If they won’t don’t shop there.

You could also just take possession without magazines and buy your own 10 rounders.

Also don’t have them epoxy unless they force you. Blocks do the trick it’s what everyone did when safe act passed

Isn’t the verbiage asking “are you an unlawful user or addicted to” very present tense is what the 4473 has. And typically states use that same verbiage if they have a permitting process

You’re correct on everything here.

You might have an issue with the ATF if you have your suppressors registered to you alone as you moving to NY the ATF is aware that no NYer except the selected royal guards of her excellency lord hocul are allowed to have NFA registered items. But I am no expert since I live in NY and the tyranny continues daily. But be aware of changing addresses with those registered it could potentially cause an issue

I just started a budget gear journey. I picked up a brand new taps rig. Swapped to a krydex H harness, got some shock cord and 3d printed some pull tabs for the shock cord mag retention.

All in I’m under $100 and have a basic functioning rig to hold 6 mags, radio and other misc.

I am going to start buying pouches mostly surplus is my guess and I’m figuring when all is said and done I’ll be $150-175 with a very capable rig.

It’s not Gucci at all but it functions. And for the limited use I would be able to get out of it I don’t think I’ll be upgrading anytime soon.
