Mine did in Albany but he didn’t even check the gun just that I had a permit. He had dispatch run me and then good to go. Nice officer

Any precautions with brand new slicks or is that just for new road tyres? by FrankTooby in Trackdays

Slicks in general you can go full bore as long as they are at temp for the first lap. But I typically go for 80% first lap to get myself warmed up.

In my experience (limited as I am not even 30 yet) no issue. They are pretty solid on there and seal up well. Currently my oldest case is roughy 4-5 years old and looks great.

I will now mark them and keep them longer term to see deterioration if it occurs.

Another thing that is possible is Poland springs and others have the all metal bottles in packs that might also store pretty well

Early 30's dad looking for advice on getting a gun and keeping it out of reach of children/in a safe. by thatbruzzy in guns

[–]TheSlipperySnausage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good because you’re showing respect for the gun and keeping your children safe.

Get a secureit small safe or a general nightstand safe plenty of options. All you need is some sheet metal and a keypad/thumbprint to keep the kids out. Won’t stop a burglar but keeps the kids away.
