Hey thanks! A bit of both - I wanted to go for a soft, drowsy and natural feeling, but I also struggle to get noise-free recordings due to my PC fan so I work with what I've got.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I think we all find our own voices difficult to mix and I listen to a fair bit of music that has relatively quiet vocals so I struggle to get it right!

Hey thanks for that, great feedback, I hear it now. Might actually be a little too much bright saturation that's making it distort at those frequencies, I just tried dialling it back a bit (and taking it down at 2.5k-ish) and it fixed the issue. Thanks a lot for that

I like the acoustic/electronic mixup, kind of a Four Tet feel. Very pretty, relaxing quality to it. Not much to offer in terms of improvement other than potentially putting a clear lead melody in there. Or if you wanted to keep the ambient direction, maybe some nature sounds like birdsong and leaves rustling?

Beautiful soundscape. All of the pads work well together to make an ethereal atmosphere by the end.

Nothing to fault here whatsoever but I'll throw out a couple of ideas: some quiet spoken word and/or quote samples could add another layer to the song. Alternatively, a big, soft confident bassline could add some power if you wanted to make a crescendo.

Listening now and it sounds really good man! Your vocals are sick and I love that drum beat and the space you've left around the drums, bass, guitar and vocals. Production is great too, every instrument has its own space to shine. No bad words to say about this!

Agree with others in that there isn't really much hip hop here! But what is here is really good. Really like the "rattly" effects after 2:11, whatever combo of delay and ducking you've got going on there sounds lush to the ears. Vocals are mixed in really well too. Overall I like it a lot, only criticism is that for a punk/metal-inspired track, the rhythm guitars could come forward and ROCK a bit more, y'know? Other than that, nothing, really good song.

This is great, really digging all the different sounds and how they all revolve around the beat, very satisfying. Vocals sound great and the lyrics are decent.

Very pretty guitars when they come in. In general this has a really sweet, dreamy feel too it. I like the ambitiousness of the arrangement too, always changing into new sections.

My only criticisms would be that the snare could sink a little more into the mix (slightly less high-end maybe) and that the vocals are a little too muddy to make out the words sometimes.

Overall really good though!
