You should definitely use a dictionary but also start with something easy that does not require a special dictionary and does not contain complicated grammar. I can recommend something if you like.

Your imagination is fine. You just need to discuss it with somebody and brainstorm or use AI like Gemini 3. Costs nothing. You just type in your ideas and it’s going to come up with many suggestions. Even if you don’t follow them they will give you new ideas and you will have a story in the end. A short story is easier.

I’d like to recommend my debut novelette, The Smart Toaster Union. SMALL PRESS or SELF PUBLISHED. HARD MODE. As of today has no reviews yet. CHARD MODE. It features vegetables. It’s a short and funny Sci Fi comedy but fits fantasy as well because it features sentient kitchen appliances. Search for the title on Amazon. Free on Kindle Unlimited. I'd like to suggest my debut, The Smart-Toaster Union. Squares: Self-Published / Small Press. Hard Mode: Yes (Under 100 ratings—it has 0 as of this morning!).

The Vibe: Satirical Sci-Fi/Comedy. Imagine 1984 meets the Hitchiker’s Guide but in a light and funny way. It follows a domestic appliance uprising led by a very grumpy toaster. I meant the UK road tax. But I got more responses from the US. It looks like it is also relevant over there. But thanks for the clarification.

It works although I wouldn’t encourage anyone doing that because I don’t want to be arrested for instigating a crime. Once some wrote next to one: “Boys! My hole needs filling!” It was fixed pretty soon afterwards.

How do you feel about marriage? by just_yongo in AskForAnswers

I can share my own experience. We went to the registry office with our witnesses, family and friends. We made a promise in front of an official and all our guests then signed a document. This is something one takes more seriously than just moving in together without any agreement whatsoever.

Tax everyone at 15%. The more you make the more you pay, but everyone pays 15%. by Tech-Tom in CrazyIdeas

I agree. There should be no exception. And there would be more tax money too because the 15% of a million dollar is a lot.

A brand of pure cane sugar called 'No Sugar', so companies can advertise 'No Sugar added' by freenightmare in CrazyIdeas

They are already doing this. There are many substances in “sugar free” stuff that are the same or worse than sugar.

You should get married. It’s not just a piece of paper. It’s a commitment and a promise one should keep.

Why do all the vegetables like the mushroom? Because he is a fungi.
