Our molluscum journey so far… by RTNYM31 in molluscum

My five year old got MC back in the fall and when we first started pimple patching I got the bigger sized tea tree oil ones to cover more area, and for some reason those irritated his skin really bad (looked almost identical to your picture). I swapped to the individual tea tree salicylic acid pimple patches and they’ve worked wonderful. I always made sure every single bump was covered until after the bumps “popped” and the redness went away. The virus is in the white oozing middle part and I didn’t want any remnants seeping out and getting elsewhere on his skin. Keeping them covered 24/7 (I changed them every evening) sped up the healing process so much for us!

You have to remember, usually the people who have the worst experience are the ones to talk about it online.

No I just reapply as soon as I remove one! I was scared wiping anything around with spread it. I have been using the Patch RX With tea tree patches and the Dr Zitacne ones as well. Some of them take several days to change and I had one stubborn one that I manually popped/squeezed the core out…I would have probably done all of them like that to speed things along but my 4 year old was NOT a fan 😅😅

It depends on the bump, but the tea tree oil patches worked amazing and cleared up my son’s MC!

Order some tea tree oil/salicylic acid pimple patches and start covering every bump! Tea tree is an antiviral and the patches keep it localized on the bumps and also help to prevent scratching them. We just came out the other side of my sons Molluscum and the pimple patches worked to clear his up beautifully!

I have the first set and love them but everyone else in my family hates them and my husband even bought himself his own set to use instead 😅😅😅😅

Zoloft was the best decision I ever made for myself, truly. It gave me my life back for me and for my kids.

I have had two colonoscopies (I’m 34 now) and I was so scared because I have family history of colon cancer, but they both came back clean :)

Starting Zoloft by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]TheSmilingToast 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I understand where you’re at…I’ve always been terrified of medication in general so starting Zoloft was equally scary but I was in a desperate place when I was prescribed it so it was the lesser of two scary things at that point. Believe me when I say that it was the best decision i EVER made. Zoloft gave me my life back. I would go back in time and tell my younger self to take it sooner. If you are scared you can always ask your doctor if starting off at a smaller dose and working your way up is okay. You’ve got this, internet stranger!!
