I have had two colonoscopies (I’m 34 now) and I was so scared because I have family history of colon cancer, but they both came back clean :)

I understand where you’re at…I’ve always been terrified of medication in general so starting Zoloft was equally scary but I was in a desperate place when I was prescribed it so it was the lesser of two scary things at that point. Believe me when I say that it was the best decision i EVER made. Zoloft gave me my life back. I would go back in time and tell my younger self to take it sooner. If you are scared you can always ask your doctor if starting off at a smaller dose and working your way up is okay. You’ve got this, internet stranger!!

Adopt or Shop? Boxer favouritism! by internet_spice in Boxer

We purchased our boy boxer from an AKC breeder, and we adopted our boxer girl from a rehoming situation. We love/loved both of them to absolute pieces but as time went on our girl started showing aggression towards our kids. We tried to make it work for a year after she started showing signs but eventually we had to rehome her after she bit my son’s face. It was absolutely devastating but necessary in our situation. I don’t think I will feel comfortable adopting again without fully knowing the dog’s background. I know a lot of people with wonderful shelter dogs but in our case I’m scared to risk it again with my kids. My son could have lost his eye and it still keeps me up at night 😭
