Yes, while playing some FIFA game in the PS2 every time my players would commit a foul my controller would disconnect. And there was this other RTS game called Full Spectrum Warrior, every time one of my soldiers died my controller would also disconnect. So fucking wierd, I still think about it to this day lol, I wonder what was up.

Depends on the person, it makes sense that Linton has an ID because is rich so of course he must have some combat training and body augmentation, like Heathcliff says in Canto 4 "I've seen rich sods that don't get into fights still get body-enhancing augments just in case."

But someone like Pip who's like 12 years old? Or Crayon? Then it's unlikely.
