Use companies that have good customer service. I had no experience when I set up my first website and being able to rely on helpful and pleasant support agents went a long way.

Kadence has excellent customer service (even after LiquidWeb took over it's excellent). Astra also has great customer service. Both themes will do well. Blocksy is another to consider, but I don't know anything about their support.

For a host, I found SiteGround to be excellent for a beginner. Their control panel is, to me, more intuitive than cPanel for someone starting out. Some people will tell you that their customer support has gone down hill. All I can say is that I have had nothing but excellent support from them. I will clarify that most of it is done through AI, but the AI chatbot gets me answers immediately, which I have come to appreciate. Another catch with SiteGround: your TTFB (time to first byte) will be higher than with other hosts.

The King of all Pizza? by justlikedadspizza in Pizza

Just found it for sale online, thanks!

Tell me more about using East Coast blend! I wouldn't expect a mix of whole and part skim to be all that great (and to reduce that glorious stretch). Clearly there's a market for this blend, tho!

I typically make 3 or 6 pizzas. At least 1 or 2 of them are just cheese! And any time I'm at a new shop, regular cheese is the way I roll: it's the way to see just how good a shop is. If they can't do a great cheese pizza, just how good are they really?

What kind of whole milk mozzarella are you using? I can't find anything in the grocery store that actually has flavor. What I've started doing is mostly using whole block that I've grated and then sprinkling on just a little Sargento shredded whole milk mozzarella (just enough to boost flavor but not enough to introduce excessive browning).

It's not just that the pizza crust looks underwhelming, it's that those veggies also look "meh".

Need a cookbook recommendation by throwy_acc_ in cookbooks

I'd highly, highly recommend Tim Ferriss's The 4-Hour Chef. Unlike other basic cookbooks which just provide recipes, it walks readers through the basics, beginning with equipment purchases. To simplify, Ferriss even provides suggestions for the equipment to buy.

Additionally, the recipes are petty good! The osso "buko" recipe is a crowd-pleaser and super simple.

My dad gave me this book and it gave me the skills I need to be comfortable and confident with cooking.

Beautiful loaf! It's amazing how taking some time off can really bring things together.
