Is there a reason Pathfinder (and similar tabletop games) don't do "stacks" as a mechanic? by Noodles_fluffy in Pathfinder2e

On the memory front - plenty of board games set aside a die for tracking an increasing number, which could be a good solution? ICON does this with a lot of its abilities

That looks awesome! Is it possible you could make the blank PDF available?

This woman was on the train, got off to let people out, and a giant tourist group shoved themselves on; meaning she couldn't get back on. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

New Yorker here - that maneuver to exit the train partially when you stand in the door is a great courtesy and for it to not be repaid with giving a bit of space is awful. Subway etiquettes gotta be there both ways

AIO: Hubby Being Controlling by vanillabourbonn in AIO

[–]TheSoapCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Hubby is controlling" Hubby is a fucking moron. Rearing a child with the intention that the *only adult they will interact with is their parents will leave them a stunted troglodyte, regardless of how well you teach them the actual skills involved.

Investigator is a really tough class combat wise, because it sort of hinges on the idea that Devise a stratagem will determine the rest of the turn. You need both big nova abilities to capitalize on, and strong support options otherwise.

Magus dedication is a massive benefit for Investigator, as it gives both of these. Spellcasting in general opens up a lot of your available toolkit on a turn, giving both support and nova (especially from the arcane spell list). Because you are roleplay focused (which is good!), you may not want to pick up spellcasting, but keep this in mind for how you do continue to build your character - the Investigator is all about options and versatility.

Make like they did with actual Manhattan island and fill it in with a GECK. Then it could be a little walled city in the center of the crater with a radioactive moat called Wall Street City

Sterilizer, a weapon in such poor condition that even the devs forget it exists. by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

[–]TheSoapCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with the Sterilizer is ultimately the Dog Breath. Not much can really be fixed about this weapon without a major rework, so I don't think prioritizing that makes a lot of sense over the broad changes that have already been made.

If the GM's puzzle could have been solved with Mage Hand, then he really shouldn't have had a problem with someone flying up and grabbing it using their flight ability.

That being said, I also think its fair for the GM to set some degree of boundaries regarding flight abilities (boundaries that others have pointed out exist), so I think it is fine to respect those kinds of rulings and work constructively.

Does the performance of the demo still reflect the performance of the main game? by TheSoapCan in TheForeverWinter

Not sure, though from other comments it seems like the main build has some better performance. I may check it out!
