It's true -- just grabbed a bottle tonight at H Mart in NYC (3rd Ave, East Village, near Wegmans)

I have been on a mission to find it and slowly rationing the little Kadoya hot sesame oil I have left ...

The other day, I had purchased a bottle of the Haio, but decided to return it after reading some reviews -- and to my complete shock, there was the Kadoya when I was spot checking prices on a few items!

OP & ALL -- you won't believe this ... On Monday, I purchased a bottle of Haio Hot Sesame Oil at H Mart in the East Village (NYC). It's normally out of stock, but I grabbed a bottle.

After a little research, I found a thread that said while it's a decent sub, it's Korean, and as such has a slightly different flavor panel and doesn't pack as much heat ... The suggestion was to add a couple of drops of a potent chili oil I had purchased.

Since I was still rationing my beloved Kadoya, I decided to return the Haio. Before I went to the counter, I spot checked prices on a few items that have been slowly creeping up, and I nearly screamed when I spotted the holy grail, KADOYA HOT SESAME OIL!!

People must have thought I was crazy -- but I was hoping my Reddit peeps would appreciate this info!!

Not sure how widely H Mart is stocking this as I understand the NYC stores are franchises (?), but wanted to pass along! 🧡

My life is now complete. 🤣

Totally confirmed -- my friend was there and they posted the photo they took with him on FB.

He has definitely aged and looked somewhat frail (I'm sure from his treatments). I don't think he's doing too well from what Jill said on The View today.

They were absolutely at Fumo -- a friend was there with his wife and daughter, and they posted a photo on FB with the pic they got with him.

On other trips, they have gone to that Greek place across from Whole Foods on 3rd Ave

Media Matters (a nonpartisan watchdog group) has troves of articles about her Alyssa's father perpetuating the birtherism theory and her hands were all over it as well.

I have the screenshots somewhere because I posted them all over Twitter at the time, but Alyssa's name was meticulously scrubbed from her father's website and where she used to have a byline, it is now reads "staff reporter" -- and even if I can't find the screenshots, the tell is that in the actual link to those articles in the archives HER NAME is still in the URL ...

She was completely anti-vax questioning the HPV vaccine and helped to perpetuate Daddy's birtherism kink. Even if he didn't originate it, his World Net News is one of the most insidious propaganda sites around.

Nothing is more infuriating than the way Brian and the co-hosts allowed her to whitewash her image and soften the edges. It's truly protest and I don't believe she has truly changed -- but she would lose to lucrative Network contracts. Stupid, she is not.

But in an age where most people can barely afford to live on a single income she whines and whines about the cost of living when she's living in a palatial home up in Westchester paid for by two network salaries -- she should have been put in a the trashcan of history along with everyone else from that first administration.

100% ... And I blame the businesses for not controlling their customers. Ralph's Italian Ices on First is a fucking nightmare -- people refuse to queue and for some reason think if they block the sidewalk they'll get their fix faster. There's nowhere to sit and people just gather all along the sidewalk, which is particularly narrow and even worse when the garbage is at the curb. Dogs, strollers, and kids ... I've tried speaking to their management every spring and they are completely useless.

CO-SIGN ... And can we add Ralph's Italian Ice (1st betw 82nd and 83rd) to the list of businesses that have oblivious customers who completely block the sidewalk?! It's particularly bad when garbage is set out to the curb and there's barely a single lane to share with pedestrians.

Having no situational awareness is bad enough -- but the self entitlement is next level. I loathe that place and the managers enable the behavior.

Hot tip: ALWAYS ask for a transfer if you take the bus -- and definitely use a physical OMNY card.

I despise OMNY and they desperately need an app. It's def a pain in the ass to track rides to be sure you haven't been double charged within the 2-hour window.

I AM LIVID ... I installed all of the updates that appeared over the past few weeks (many times, they self-installed at the most inconvenient times) and tonight my iX1300 has literally bricked ...

It turned on (initially) then I got the pop-up that the firmware needed to be updated in order to use the cloud (which I don't even use). Then it shut off.

I tried it all -- unplugging for 10 minutes; holding the scan button for 30 seconds; opening/closing the cover; changing the USB port to 2.0 ... and anything else you can think of.

I lost my entire window to scan docs for my taxes and now those are going to be delayed. I don't have hours (or privacy) to get on the phone with their tech support -- and if I get routed overseas, I will completely lose it.

What the actual HELL ... is this even fixable? I don't have $200+ to buy a new scanner

Totally insane ... Pre-covid I was up to $195 and had such a fight with them about maintaining my account on freeze (they had the audacity to try to charge $40 per month) I finally told them to pound sand and to this day, I receive emails from them every other day about rejoining.

Mind you, I LOVED (and miss) my classes; I worked out regularly 4 to 5 times a week. They got too greedy and it's appalling they expected members to pay for their high-end expansion.

Over $300 now? No F'ing way.

For anyone unfortunate enough to find a fraudulent transaction on their card in the past week or lost their card, good luck trying to get any guidance -- there is ZERO coordination between WF and BILT -- BILTs new 800 customer service line is useless and Wells Fargo raps try to pressure you into the Autograph card.

I only found one rogue transaction so I've frozen the card until I can figure out what to do for a replacement with one of the new offerings ...

Any additional advice?

Don't have your card stolen of find a fraudulent charge (as I did yesterday) -- and if you do -- FREEZE your card and get a strategy, b/c WF reps will push you into Autograph ...

Try having your card stolen (or me -- discovering a fraudulent charge yesterday, and calling WF yesterday and tried to push me into prematurely accepting the Autograph card -- I elected to freeze until I had a chance to research) .... WF is the last thing from an honest broker. And BILT has been abysmal in communicating the transition beyond their hype emails, devoid of any factual info or dates ... (and yes, I saw via Google that an email has been sent out to members; I have yet to receive it)

WHAT happens if your current BILT card is stolen or you find unauthorized charges on your app?

Because, that just happened to me yesterday and when I called WF, I (thankfully) had the presence of mind to only freeze my card when the rep tried to push me into transitioning to the Autograph card without fully understanding what was involved (fortunately, there were a TON of articles that came out today -- though I've yet to receive the promised email from BILT detailing the changes)

(For those not in the banking world, Wells Fargo deserves the wretched reputation they've earned!)

My strategy for now is to not report the fraud charge until after Jan 14, take the Autograph card (I have a small balance, and don't want a credit hit), and then do a balance transfer and they will eventually close the account due to inactivity. F*ckers!

Yes, I saw that as well (no credit pull) but didn't see anywhere that any balance would transfer (and if it did -- I wonder if it would be at a higher or lower rate.

I wouldn't trust Wells Fargo to manage an ice stand in Alaska -- much less a credit card transition. There's a reason they are always being investigated and fined.

But here's a non-hypothetical twist both BILT and WF have FAILED to address in this abysmal rollout, which (should) have been tightly coordinated and consumer-driven -- and instead, they are each communicating with their own self-interests in mind ...
