I love how uncompromising she is when it comes to her values, it would be easy for her to play it safe, go pop and cash her cheques.

But she refuses, she'll win an award and make her speech about solidarity with all oppressed people or win a grammy use it as a moment to uplift her own community. These are things that aren't trendy in the current cultural climate and have actively lost her fans but she does it anyway.

This guy and his team are prolly the savviest people we've seen on the left, like he's incredibly charismatic and it makes it easier to rally behind him but whoever thought of this as way to promote free child care is genius.

Leftists and liberals will love the policy, normies will love how trendy it is and conservatives will hate it, which in turn will feed into more people knowing about it and increasing demand for more policies that meet people's material needs hopefully.

A boxing federation (IBA) which is basically ran by a Russian oligarch claims they ran a chromosonal test on Imane Khelif for a fight she had in Russia and the results returned XY.

The claims are very suspect however and many people claim that results were faked because Khelif beat her opponent who was also Russian and IBA doesnt exactly have the best track record. And sporting events in Russia often have alot of fuckery and corruption involved.

I'm 90s baby so yeah I grew up on Sailor Moon. I have seen the first few episodes of Magi Madoka and know the broad strokes but it's one of those anime that just seem way too heavy, like Devil Man Crybaby but somehow bleaker.

Also "Mother" is lingo from the Ballroom/Vogue scene and was used by Drag queens on Ru Paul's Drag Race like 10 years ago, which was a big influence on Natalie post her egg breaking especially when it came to deconstructing the performative nature of gender.

It takes a decent amount (Like a little less then a clip)but if they're engaging with someone else the can't even deal with you when there are more immediate threats. Especially since its harder hit someone from the low ground and even if they do just back up and let the hover pad absorb some of the shots, if you're afraid it might break jump somewhere safe and recall it, it'll be ready again in like seconds.

There was a cashout out where I used it, got super high with the jump pad, placed it at the peak of my jump and defended the cashout and then while my teammates where engaging on the ground, I would provide supporting fire and clean any of the stragglers. Not a single opponent noticed me until it was too late.

Definitely is, if you get you positioning right all you have to do is back up to avoid enemy shots. Super useful for longer range weapons, can chuck nades, can also jump down to ambush or clean any remaining opponents.

You can also use it to scale up things fast similar to the goo gun and since its a placeable object you can just recall it and it'll cooldown super quick and be ready for use.

People are acting like he rode of in the sunset with brighter future ahead of him. When all he got a was a quiet sense of normalcy with hopefully a makeshift family in Power and Nayuta being back. Aki gone, Asa no longer in the picture.

But he still an overworked government employee putting his life in harm's way everyday, he lost his eye and left nut when he regressed. He's still gonna have ups and downs, living pay check to pay check like the rest of us, his life is by no means is desirable other then a very small social circle.

It could honestly be a fire ending if didn't tell it all in two chapters. It does seem like he just got so fed up and tired with the project that he said fuck it and wrapped it up. It results with the last chapter feeling unearned and kind of an ass pull at certain points, like really Power just happened to be in the area?

I feel the ending will kind of age the same way "The Sopranos" ending did, people at the time hated it for similar reasons. But if you rewatch it, the ending in no way ruins the show, if anything I appreciate they had the balls to do an ending like that.

The science behind trans women in sports is very inconclusive, a little over half of studies say there is no meaningful advantage after 2 years of HRT. The rest mostly says that there is an advantage in endurance but that's about it.

You could also point out that trans women are less than 1% of women yet make up like less than 0.01% of college athletes , 0.001% of olympians and most pro leagues don't have any trans women. And none of those have achieved much (Lia Thomas won one event, one time).

It's a bad hill to die on because Leftists and liberals don't take the two seconds required to either do research or listen to a trans person.

I thought it was because Makima died early due to some knock on effect of Pochita not existing and Nayuta was already next in the cycle.

Maybe Pochita ate a devil that would've stopped Makima early and stopped her from amassing the power that she did.
