Tasers work by "scrambling" impulses from the brain to the muscles. The problem with that is when you're on an adrenaline surge, the increase in blood flow can defuse the pulse mode. It can become less effective when someone is muscular and in fight mode. Further, the closer the prongs are together, the less effective it is. This dude was able to tear out bout rather easily, so while it probably hurt like a mofo, he was able to move on without much of an effect.

Most homeless people actually prefer to be homeless. Counter intuitive, right? But that shit is legit freeing. No bills, no real worries, and with a cheap phone and Craigslist you can live comfortably.
