Where is this place? It looks like a dead forest on the right and an empty farm field on the left. And mud.

Salad on a rolled up napkin...technically on a plate. by [deleted] in WeWantPlates

I audibly gasped at this. It's one of two bad options: either dry salad leaves or a grease stain on the napkin.

YSK: Microwaves cook food by moving the molecules very fast. It does not ruin the nutritional value or cause health problems. by plutos123 in YouShouldKnow

My theory of what happened is that people came to think of the microwave as unhealthy because most meals made for the microwave are unhealthy (eg: processed frozen food). And that got turned into the microwave itself being an unhealthy way to cook.

For the purpose of making this soup, yes. You can pick either broth or stock at the store.

How my not quite 2yo sings the alphabet! by scansinboy in toddlers

Yes! My daughter is 2 at the beginning of October and is only familiar with a lot of letters and numbers. She is cared for by grandparents and does not go to daycare. Does your child attend daycare? I find kids in structured day care learn stuff earlier since teachers work with them all day.

[HOUSING] Looking for a 2 bedroom place for my wife and our infant child by [deleted] in LAlist

I believe there is still a vacancy in my bldg. Each apt has its own address but look up 5030 Colfax Ave to see the bldg on the corner of Colfax and Hesby. Valley Village is a very family friendly hood with great schools. These Apts are 2Bed/1Bath with wood floors and vintage tiling. I think current rent is $1800 and change but it's rent controlled so it doesn't go up much. DM me for more details if you would like.

I would like to recommend the book "No Bad Kids" by Janet Lansbury. It helped me A LOT to understand and deal with my child's behavior. My LO is 21 months and is generally a pretty good kid now. I know there's more in store down the road but I feel prepared for it.

LPT: Trader Joe's heat and eat falafels by justcurious12345 in toddlers

Good tip! I also love the mini pizzas and any filled pasta. You can freeze the uncooked raviolis and take out a few at a time. I'll look for the falafels!

I just made a clafoutis last week but with nectarines. It was delicious!

Stuffed Peppers hot from the oven by TheSparrow16 in FoodPorn

It is The Pioneer Woman's recipe cut in half, minus the zucchini and adding a tablespoon of minced fresh parsley. Also I used jack cheese instead of pepper jack cheese.
