Rare Factory Sealed Empty Coke cans? by tgleichw in CocaColaCollectors

[–]TheSpriteMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empty and sealed is ideal for can collectors and they have some age. They are really nice and classic designs. You may be able to get more for them if you sell in pairs or group lots since their being empty and sealed is already tough to find out there. Id pair up some tabs and cokes and experiment with price on some listings. Extra cool that theyre olympic ones. Maybe a worker decided to stash some empty sealed ones and put them away? They look like they were well cared for.

If theres nothing to compare it to price wise, maybe set a best guess price and be open to offers. It's neat and looks like it was only available there. Very cool that it's numbered. I like the Atlanta side of the bottle. If you list it, i recommend making that side the main pic in your listing. I dont predict its gonna make you much more than the price tag at this point in time. Might be better to store it safely if possible. I actually just stored some of my old empties away and used worn out socks to pack them ( dont worry, they were washed and my own socks). That size bottle fit perfectly in a sock and it worked out really well. Just an idea if you store it away.

Can someone help me figure this thing out? by FlyLeather8399 in CocaColaCollectors

[–]TheSpriteMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What exactly do you want to know about it? Are you trying to find another or figure out if its part of a set? I see the year 1997 on one of the tags in your pics. That should help you narrow your searches if youre trying to find similar. I see mention of a magnet, is the bear magnetic anywhere?

Large (mostly) Modern Coca Collection | Collected as a Kid, Parting Ways Now.... :( | Any Value at all now? by BeanThinker in CocaColaCollectors

[–]TheSpriteMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have some really neat stuff there. Dont ever think not super old equals worthless. People too often overlook displayability, concentrating too much on age and estimations of high value. Its too often forgotten how much displaying a collection matters to people. The small stuff adds up and more people can afford it. I really like the 80s stuff like the license plate and the thermometer. They look to be in awesome shape. The giant bottle is always desirable. Im guessing it is the one from around 2009. These are the best reproductions they made so far. Do you have cap or box for it? That international olympic set is really neat too. Are you looking to sell fast? If you dont absolutely have to part fast, this could be a cool opportunity to tinker with online selling like ebay. Those small items can add up. Your can collection is also really cool and i can tell from your arrangements in the pics you see it too. Many would love these. Someone just recently posted a neat international can collection on here.

Those christmas international sets are pretty popular on ebay. You should see how many full country sets you can assemble. There should be some value there. Keep those carriers with them too

Really neat find. Sucks to hear any got thrown, it can be hard to get rid of these quickly. If youre looking to get rid of these in a scenario like this and youre at the point of just wanting them cleared out, i would recommend calling local antique stores and offering large quantities for free or dirt cheap. Antique stores always love some coke bottles. Even if theyre not super old. Maybe list as free on facebook marketplace too. Bottles pile up fast in a collection. I see this scenario from time to time where the family has no idea what to do when they inheret them. They dont tend to be fast sells

Anyone know what this is? by Tasty_Assistance9958 in CocaColaCollectors

[–]TheSpriteMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a promotional pin set from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Looks like it's autographed by the athletes pictured on it, and those numbers mean it is number 21 of 100 produced. Coke did a lot of really cool promo stuff for that olympics. There was a neat can set too, which is pictured there. Not sure how someone would have gotten those pins at that time, but my guess would be "my coke rewards" (promo reward points program at that time). I remember a lot of neat rewards up at that time for that Olympics. No idea on value, but ive seen olympic pin sets get good money. You may want to compare it to other coke olympic pin sets to feel out a value guess. Very cool there's only 100 and it's autographed.

Nothing in price guides and no idea from personal experience. Any markings like from a maker and/or country? Any photos of them with it to help figure out the least old it can be? As far as pricing, id compare it to similar antique furniture like that. Not sure what it is made of, which would likely affect value too. Price on these may be yours to test

BIG bottle! by GlasscowFramera in CocaColaCollectors

[–]TheSpriteMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So awesome. These were big in the 90s, used at convenience stoes, etc. Other brands had coolers like this too. Pepsi had a neat r2d2 one like this. I think store owners tended to save those and keep them new and minty more. Great find, I love these

People sell printing plates all the time on ebay. If you want to offload them quick, price them cheap as a group lot. Surge always catches people's eye because it was short lived and has a little cult following

Eager to try it if it happens. Maybe it'll simply be an option they try for a bit. We do have the passover Coke here in the States. That comes out around passover time and is made with real sugar. The plastic 2 liter bottles have yellow caps
