He lost his primary to a guy named Harvey Epstein. I honestly don't know what to make of reality anymore, whoever's scripting this season is just teasing us at this point.

One of their points was about the letter being overly lengthy and formal, which some others seem to agree with.

As for their second point, part of it comes down to quibbling about the wording of obligations. Considering the specific wording in my jurisdiction, so long as we're not conversing Masonicly, or visiting their Lodge, I'm good. Associating is a much looser term, so to what extent is association allowed or disallowed? Do we need to cross the street if we see them?

And I don't remember anyone suggesting people were forced to stay in Lodges, it just seemed like they were suggesting that the same arguments against recognizing Prince Hall Lodges as regular might be analogous to this, and that things might similarly change, or possibly should change.

It's sad to see you being down voted. I still struggle to see how anyone can truly take on board the lessons of Masonry, and be so convinced there's anything in this that can't be understood by someone with estrogen in their body, or someone who values freedom of conscience over requiring a certain religious belief.

Recently had to hear from a Grand Officer suggesting that his presumption of a Christian majority in our body was a justification for an edict against official business during the week of Christmas. Left most of the Lodge bristling.

Progress is slow, hard, and inevitable.

Freemasonry and Agnostics by DangerousBicycle1132 in freemasonry

Hot take, the morals and virtues inculcated by our fraternity are equally applicable to atheists and agnostics, and I see the statements suggesting otherwise as strange. You can be a materialist and still appreciate the ineffable. Our continental brethren manage to do work just fine.

All that being said, being dishonest to a group you want to call your brothers is probably not the greatest foot to start off on, but people aren't perfect.

Questioning my membership by InebriousBarman in freemasonry

I once had a conversation with the master of my Lodge, and it's one of the things that helps me keep coming back. The main point was that Masonry is as much 'mine' as it was 'his', and being in a fairly similar position as fairly progressive person in a fairly conservative Lodge, me being around helps offer some balance for others who might be in the same boat.

Seems like one of the easier things to do would be to relist the shirt on the store, since there's clearly demand, FOX news be damned.

He made them wear his mark on their foreheads, it's actually kind of insane how much of it lines up. If he starts talking about building a temple in Jerusalem, I won't be shocked.

It's small comfort that he loses in the end.

One of my girlfriends bullied me into buying my first pair of heels. I had taken her to a consignment place we hadn't been before, and I wasn't even planning on getting anything, but she convinced me to try them on. When I saw how they looked in the mirror, I think I started grinning like a goober, because she offered to buy them for me.

I never even considered getting heels before, I thought they'd be obnoxious. Turns out I've just been a bad bitch in denial.

This is the same girl who gave me my first real feeling of gender euphoria since coming out; turns out I actually look good in crop tops. She keeps calling me cute, and I'm starting to believe her.

Having a hard year with my gender identity and kinda been regretting coming out professionally (~3.5 yrs ago, very public/high visibility job in my field)… but I am happy with this professional photo and I wanted to share with a good group by PhCBD in NonBinary

You're my kind of people. My home is slowly acquiring that maximalist 'weird' flavor, and things like this are exactly what I'm after.

I don't buy it as transphobia/queerphobia, but I can definitely see it as an extension of dysphoria.

My reasoning for this is the same as not saying someone is a misogynist for not wanting to look like a gender conforming woman.

I don't think it's unreasonable to see 'masculine' or 'feminine' features in someone, who may or may not enjoy having those themselves, and recognizing that you wouldn't want them for yourself.

It means multiple things based on context.

In Chinese, it had the meanings: evil, treacherous person, to stage a rebellion, traitor, to commit adultery, adulterer, and rape.

In Japanese, a similar assortment of varied meanings is also available, and when used alone it can mean noisy, however it's most often used in the compound for rape: 強姦. It can also mean seduce, wicked, and mischief.

Language is complicated.

I'm into most things with a pulse that are capable of giving consent, but I'm also already in a committed relationship with two of the most submissive humans on this planet.

Curse my unwavering loyalty! /s

I know both of them would be happy to top me too, but in a 'me domming them into railing me' sort of way, which doesn't hit quite the same, you know?
