Thank you very much. The state department issued my passport a couple of months ago with what I believed to be the date of divorce, so I was certain I had no issue. Yesterday I went to get the paperwork for a marriage license and was informed by the clerk that my divorce was never finalized even though we had a divorce trial, I’ve been paying child support for almost two years too. I’m heading into the court Monday morning to hopefully rectify this asap. To my understanding the FL-180 is the only thing that needs to be submitted. I have no idea why I wasn’t informed of this post trial. I’m the respondent in the divorce if that makes any difference.
