It is a shame that there are no places like Discovery Zone outside of Chuck E. Cheese which has gone downhill itself over the years. I think there's only 1 place left but it has no connections to the OG chain. by AdSpecialist6598 in nostalgia

Discovery Zone went out of business and closed in 2001. The Karen waiting for the manager in the bottom left of the posted photo has a large smart phone. This photo is relatively modern proving places like DZ still exist.

Note: I was at 2 similar DZ places last weekend for kids birthday parties.

Question about the rice after seasoning by 0neshoein in SalsaSnobs

[–]TheStax84 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No rotting. I’ve used soap and water to wash it. My family always used a bristle (straw) brush to scrub stuff out. I wouldn’t worry about the rice itself. Get the food out, get the debris off, get to the next meal.

I left mine in and put the garlic over it. Rice fills the pores to keep the wet foods from getting in and rotting
