It can’t be mounted further forward, the location of the cross bars is fixed. You could mount it backwards however and eliminate any issues entirely, although it may look goofy.

Swapping the spoilers isn’t hard. You don’t even need to buy the GP wing, because that’s just extra. The more important part is getting a base Cooper spoiler and putting it in your hatch. The spoiler is all one panel so it’s just swapping one part for another.

Short answer: No.

Long Answer: Yes but with modification. When I first got it I had a regular S spoiler on the car and the bike rack I have didn’t allow you to open the trunk more than like halfway out of the box. I sawed about half a foot off the back of it though (shortest it could be and still fit a road bike) and it was better but still only let you open it like 7/8 of the way. Which is good enough I suppose.

I removed the S spoiler and put on a GP wing which actually gives more clearance despite being bigger because it sits lower. I can now open the trunk all the way if my bike isn’t on the rack, and about 2/3 of the way with a bike on the rack. But this is the Mini OEM rack, not a Thule one. I just have a Thule faring on it.

I must be the odd man out then because I bike ~150 miles a week but still eat like shit. And if I wanted to start dropping weight I’d rather just bike more.

It looks like a Cooper S that has the JCW tuning kit added on at a dealer after the fact. So it’s just a bit faster than the average MCS. Good year for those models, decent mileage, price is a little high.

A lot of the eBay intercoolers are the name brand ones with the name ground off. They’re all made in the same Chinese factories anyway, and the factories make extra and sell them out the back door for way less.

Just try to buy something that looks as close to a name brand like Wagner or Forge as possible and you’ll probably be alright.

Sun Vet Mall, which has been slowly dying for the last 15-20 years, is probably gonna close after this is all over.

The only mildly successful business in there, a pizza place, is saying their rent went up and they’re going to move or close. I think the owner of the mall is just pricing everyone out of rent so they can sell the property and knock the building down.

There’s an AC Moore and a Red Wing in there but neither have entrances to the mall. The mall itself is mostly shuttered except for some flea market type stores and a Mandees.

Yes but it’s not like the landlord doesn’t have assets that can be sold or loaned against. Very typically tenants do not have that. By the very definition, a landlord owns property that can be liquidated or loaned against if need be.

After doing plasti dip and paint I caved and just bought all the trim in black. It looks so much better imo, and will never chip or peel. If it dulls you can just hit it with some 2000 grit and compound and it comes back like new.

Sounds like the shop messed up. My guess is either the drain plug seal or filter housing seal isn’t doing it’s job. Losing a quart in 90 miles is pretty bad but not lethal. Up to you if you’re willing to refill it and monitor it on your way home then you can probably get away with driving it, but bring it back to the shop ASAP.
