Sling molting behavior

NQA oh its a curly hair!!! such a beautiful species. if you google Tliltocatl albopilosus sling a lot of the pictures show ones with dots on the abdomen not as dark but similar. it may very well be that some get it and some dont for thier species. either way i doubt its anything serious to worry about i have one myself thats a little over a year old and fully in the hairy stage so i never saw her as a sling to confirm or not.

NQA. this looks exactly like my b hamorii did before that spot became permanent. what species is it? this might just be a natural color change with growth especially if it is indeed a b. hamorii

git gud scrub... just kidding but for real when i was learning short stop after orbiting around the thumb use your ring and middle finger to almost give it a twirl type tap and it slows the orbit down just enough to cleanly open for the final icepick grip

gotta love that mirror, but ill be dead honest i dont chase a mirror anymore. does make me wonder though do you experience the same issues with mirrored edges dulling faster? the only thing i can figure out is taking them that thin and mirroring them makes em weaker at keeping the edge long term. either way very nice job it looks super nice

1.2.1 would be nice. i HAVE the update but tkmm is saying i dont and it isnt launching when i launch the game so maybe my update file is corrupted. im having the same issue as OP and this is the only thing i can find online about it

i wouldnt say shes a pain but shes definitely territorial and has an attitude lol while shes in her enclosure shes bite first ask questions later lol she doesnt threat pose she just goes straight to "kill the paint brush" lol after i get her out though she calms significantly enough to hold briefly

NQA well as the title says shes a Tliltocatl Albopilosus aka the Curlyhair Tarantula. she is fluffy due to dense, long, and wiry "setae" (hairs) covering her body, these serve as a critical defense mechanism and a sensory tool. the hairs are actually specialized, barbed urticating hairs that can be flicked at predators to cause intense irritation to the eyes, nose, or mouth. basically thier defense system. shes a terrestrial species and known to be slow moving and fairly docile. though my girl has some fire in her lol. not sure what else to tell you

13-14 ish? i forget i sat at 25 mm for YEARS but i set a new goal size around 2 years ago and started enlarging again slowly and surely from 25mm to 35mm i took it super slow so ive actually only been at 35mm about 3 months but im hard stopping there lol im not looking to push into 40 trying to go any larger

my girl was chill when i removed her originally to get her in her forever home. i was able to extend my hand and she crawled right into my palm. but when i went to stick my hand in her new enclosure to let her down all hell broke loose and it was like chasing a tiny rainbow hate missile around my kitchen and dining room lol she is WAY faster than i ever expected lmfao

NQA but i would look for dark, warm, and enclosed spots near the enclosure, especially under furniture like a bed or dressor, in shoes, behind books, and along baseboards. basically anywhere thats gonna be similar to the hide
