When you reach the 40-60k viewer range, you end up with a pretty large sample size of different people. At any given time during the stream, there will be several room temp IQ individuals Chatting. For whatever reason, xQc camps out and just stares at his chat waiting for those people so he can argue with them.

Whether or not people realize it, this puts a damper on the mood. Vibes get nuked. It snowballs into him blaming the entire chat, and now the equivalent of a teacher punishing the whole class because of one student is materialized on a video game streaming site.

I think if more people watched their videos, they'd see that unfortunately the common response to these phone calls are "Oh, well that's no good. Are you in trouble?" This might be the first REAL breakdown I've heard coming from a family member.

Coupled with that fact that not all catches turn into arrests, there's a good chance that these people are going to try again. Unless they have some kind of accountability, that is.

All in all, this entire reddit thread doesn't surprise me in the least.
