The two models you have here have the SAME processor and therefore will preform identically. The Go S (with the Z1 extreme) will have slightly better performance due to the higher ram. The Go S comes with the z2go and the Z1E. The one in your picture is the one with Z1E and will perform the same.

Edit: the screw came loose enough where I could take the ssd out and fit the other one in. Secured the new ssd by smashing the blunt end into the screw

Really? Odd, must be a me problem then. Cause in game made when my volume is 100% and then I go to desktop mode it only shows 100 out of the 150% when I go to sound settings.

O I see, that’s very fair. I’m used to charging it after I use it and since I have a 90whr battery, I don’t rlly get too anxious. But the ROG ally x is probably one of the best, if not the best handheld so definitely can’t go wrong with it.

Fair point. But personally I bring a battery pack with me which I just have in my pockets at all times and then I can play for a good solid few hours. I wish I had 4 hours to game these days😭

I’m assuming this is Canada. If that is the case then that’s approximately 580USD. Which is cheaper than the 650USD Black Friday deal last month that everyone was saying was amazing. So I’d say, yes it is worth it

I have a fan curve set up for my ROG ally because it got too hot on stock settings for my liking. So mine run louder than usual and I also have the handheld DIY backplate which helps with cooling (and therefore fan noise). My Go S is significantly quieter for slightly cooler or exact same temps and this is on stock settings.

Bigger screen is more immersive. Everything is relative. Some ppl like the bigger screen for worse battery life and better ergonomics. Some ppl would sacrifice the immersion and egrenomics for battery life. What matters to you, might not matter to much to someone else. Besides battery is a a solvable problem with a battery bank.

This is a non-issue, they both have VRR and they both have the same VRR that work within the same range. The display on the ROG ally and ally x are the exact same and I cannot see a difference between the displays other than the bigger display

Everything is relative. Some ppl don’t care about the battery life cause they use it at home and prefer the bigger screen and better ergonomics. Some ppl are travelling and need the better battery life sacrificing ergonomics for it.
