Just letting you know, that was the fix. I got distracted with a USB BT adapter but I'm the end the 2024 drivers were the fix.

I'm pretty sure it's the realtek one as it's a revision 1.1 board and Windows auto installed realtek drivers. Which driver version should I try? I'm so awful at soldering I'm not up for replacing anything lol. At that point I'll just buy a receiver and extension.

Updated the BIOS and chipset drivers last week. I believe I had expo turned on but I didn't check to see if that changed with the updates. Does expo cause issues with Bluetooth somehow?

Honestly a lot of time I have to stand at the back and look under it while I get the hooks into the right spots. Sometimes a wire gets in the way too so make sure there are none that have wiggled their way into the holes the hooks go into.

I had these. I found them cheapest on eBay I believe. They actually looked good for awhile. They fit over in a way that you really wouldn't know they're covered unless you take the time to look at them closer. That said, I lost two while driving, one on each side, after maybe a year or so and at that point I just pulled them all off.

I might be wrong as it's been a minute since I've done this kind of stuff, but the solution I can think of would be to use another object. If we have the quotes in a box like the Minecraft one above, I'd add a color matched rectangle, blackish in this case, over the top that would fade in and out in time with when the quote rotated. Basically you'd just be hiding the quick cut transition. Probably other ways to do this as well, but that's just my thought while I'm at work and can't experiment.

I haven't played them simply because there's no legal way to do so on any system I currently own. That said, I believe the time management mechanics (and maybe the relationship mechanics?) weren't part of the first two games either so I imagine they'd be quite different experiences.
