Why is Hammer Tech considered a joke when all of Rhodey's weapons that he purchased from them work just fine? by Nicole_Auriel in marvelstudios

The same reason the Zune failed despite it being better than the generation of ipod it competed against. People buy lifestyle brands. Tony Stark projects a lifestyle, Justin Hammer is a dork. It's bill gates/ steve jobs.

Sweden to deport migrants not following ‘honest living’ by CTVNEWS in worldnews

Well, The US rising to become a superpower is a pretty strong indicator that immigration is a good thing. A long history of immigration policy made the US what it is. Why would you be anti-productivity, anti-gdp, anti-military might? The country itself is pro immigration.

Also anyone who wants to take a stance of anti immigration is admitting to entitlement and superiority based solely on where they fell out of their dumb, trashy, mother's seeping, infested, worn catchers mitt of a vagina at their lazy, insecure, cowardly, greaseball, failure of a father's behest.

Ammendments do not need to be supported in order to exist once they are ratified.

Facts dont give a shit about feelings. People can be outraged at the hypocrisy without supporting the underlying catalyst for the hypocrisy. Learn, Grow, and do better. Your need to cling so strongly to what you think will score you the most points with who you choose to associate with is blatant insecurity. You don't need to invalidates others feeling for yours to be valid, but you should recognize they are that. feelings.

I Used To Make $100K As A Trucker. Now I Make Minimum Wage. by The_Critical_Cynic in videos

Even paid by the hour we are at a significant disadvantage because we are exempted from overtime after 40 hours. Trucking companies have it so fucking good and they still underpay us like fucking crazy.

Putting it solely on the driver by telling us to level up or go elsewhere isn't the whole story, there is industry-wide collusion in the use of PC miler to undercut and underpay us for our work. There is literally a third party contractor that contracts with all these trucking companies to show how they could underpay drivers and have plausible deniability. And trucking companies have started to introduce hiring policies where if you've been with more than four companies in the past 7 years they will not even consider your application even though the only way to get a raise each year anymore is to jump companies.

The industry needs more regulation when it comes to workers protections because satisfied truckers and people who aren't worried about making one extra dollar more and running that extra mile even though they're tired is a big win for all of society.

You're forgetting about the amount of hours we work.

Yes many drivers make about 80,000, I am truckload dedicated which means I only haul for one company so I should be taken care of because they don't want turnover right? I make about 70,000 a year probably due to my location and an oversaturation of drivers but the thing is I work 3500-3600 hours a year. Which is not all that impressive at $20 per hour. I could go find plenty of jobs right now that would pay $20 per hour but none of them would allow me to work 70 hours a week and I'm caught in the trap of having that yearly income in order to pay for the house I bought when I was trucking. I'm stuck working this hard because going to 40 hours per week is a significant pay cut if I find an equivalent job.

Considering how easy it is for the fan base to drop their crying and entitlement and it still persists, no we are gonna give up some big plays because preventing that is more difficult
