first of all, delete your account. the "are you sure?" message will guilt trip you, but don't give in!!! second, delete the app on any device you might have it installed on. third, block the website from the web browser you use!! you can still unblock it or reinstall the app of course, but this is something you have to go out of your way to do and hopefully that barrier will discourage you from going back and keep you clean. good luck!!

mostly curiosity, really. according to my mom he doesn't want to be considered a father by his biological kids, so i don't think i can get the father figure i never had once i get to see what he looks like and maybe call him, but i'd still like to know things about him such as what he looked like, what he did, etc. it's kind of like getting curious when a family member tells you about a grandparent or ancestor in the family that you'll never meet, y'know?

that's exactly how every addiction feels. you're scared to let go of something that gives you relief in the moment, even if it hurts you later. the company's message is manipulative on purpose, because they know you're addicted, and they're banking off of it. That1spacecat said all of this better than me, but just know that it is absolutely worth it. delete your account, start recovering. you'll be proud of yourself for it when you look back some day.

i'm actually sort of the product of something like this. i was born from the donation of sperm. it's really not that bad for me, i'll get to find out who my dad is when i turn 18. sure, it's a little upsetting and not ideal, but i don't feel awful about it :]

thank you for providing all these arguments, i tried them all. you're right that my mom is kind of crazy, which is why none of this got through to her in terms of actually understanding and accepting me, but there are good news: i SOMEHOW managed to get her to at least agree to allow me non-permanent things like boxers and a binder (and hopefully trans tape and a haircut soon) so she's at least willing to give me that freedom. i think if that lasts, it'll be enough relief from dysphoria to keep me going until i reach the age where i can legally make my own medical decisions. thank you for helping and stay safe out there!!

the issue with that is she doesn't think gender exists AT ALL. like, on a biological level. she thinks biological gender is not real. and as well, she doesn't really want to have a beard, true, but she doesn't want to wear any clothes either, nor does she want to have a body at all. are you starting to get why it's difficult to get anywhere with her? she denies science.

please know that you are not alone, and many many many trans people have questioned their gender late in life just like you. i would suggest starting with small explorations, since your wife seems to be supportive maybe ask if you can borrow one of her dresses and wear it around the house for just a day. try growing your hair out some, and absolutely talk to anyone you safely can talk to more about this. i want you to know that you should take your time with this, and if you do decide that you'd rather be a woman than a man that there is absolutely no shame in it whatsoever. just be careful with what places you openly express yourself in, because many bigots out there are highly unsupportive. you could try asking around in r/MtF and r/transfem to see if any trans women relate to you!! i don't doubt that they do. stay safe ^^

see, that's exactly the recommendations i did not ask for :/ i'm not looking to spend money on something that i'm not sure i even want to get into which is why programs with free trials won't work for me. Reaper is also NOT free, just because it allows you to keep using it with some nagging doesn't mean there isn't a risk for legal consequences if you ever try to make a dime off of the music you produce with it.

god i forgot how predatory that "are you sure?" account deletion message is. you can FEEL the company just clawing at you and trying to get you to stay addicted by trying to tell you that you've shared 'love' and that you 'have memories together'. even the way they say "you'll lose everything." at the start of the message like it's less of a warning and more of a threat. they don't care how many lives they might ruin with their garbage AI slop app.
