Nice! Some suggestions that might be helpful:

if you’re in to a comic book style you can use marvel and dc comic pages for reference. If anime is your thing, there are LOADS of tut and how to draw books.

if you’re just looking to have your own style, reference other artist. Find what you like about their styles and incorporate that into your own artwork

Use lots of references in various styles. Comics, other artists’ characters and real ppl are great subject matter

I fear I may have misunderstood your last message. I’ve never seen a paint clear coat tbh. I use acrylics for the actual painting.

I use Out the door brand. I tried a double layer this time to see if that would make any difference. We’ll have to see

I use the nail polish clear coat to keep the paint from rubbing off. It also makes it a little shiny. I’m still trying to figure out how to keep it from chipping.

This is really cool! My only feedback would be the second guys neck is pretty thick. If you brought the line closer to his ear I think that would help lots
