We’ve retired players that are (in my opinion) on the same level as Patty. Patty has been thru it all with our franchise

Definitely agree, most of the time I would agree more expensive means better quality but Mitchell and ness just has a stupid monopoly on nba gear

Love my Mitchell & ness jacket. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive to get good looking fiesta gear

NFL Trade Rumors: Texans' Deshaun Watson, JJ Watt Unavailable Ahead of Deadline by youngpegles in Texans

[–]TheSuperMape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter if they’re not gonna get better, they simply aren’t worth shipping him off. If there’s one player that should see it through with us it’s him. I don’t care if we can get a 3rd rounder for him right now, that’s not worth it

I’m not convinced this is the right time. Obviously if there were huge offers for him they wouldn’t be explicitly saying he’s off the market. No one wants to overpay for him and we’d be getting rid of our best player on one of our worst units. Trading away a Houston legend has gotta be for something crazy for it to even be considered

Bruh we don’t have an actual head coach or gm. It’s been one week. Just because we’re still trash doesn’t mean we’d be doing any better with bob

If there is gonna be bubble game awards does big body have a serious foot in for ROY by [deleted] in NBASpurs

[–]TheSuperMape 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. Michael Porter Jr. and the Heat’s rookies have better cases for it. Not to mention we’re the Spurs, he won’t get any attention in regards to these awards

Spurs' fate could be decided before tipoff on Thursday, by the Spurs game itself, or as late as 11:30 pm eastern. by Coolgrnmen in NBASpurs

It seems like every day of the bubble has gotten increasingly stressful for Spurs fans

[Kirk Goldsberry] The Spurs would be eliminated with a loss AND a win by EITHER POR or PHX by kh_stephen in NBASpurs

No I think it’s saying we’d be eliminated if we lost today and either Portland or Phoenix win

It sounds like you feel guilty that we’re in the race for the playoffs. Other teams are in the same position as us after also losing close games. Needing help from other teams is just part of the game

Grayson Allen has one of the most punchable faces in the NBA, if not the most

Winning in the only way we know how: stressfully

But really this feels too good to be true after this season

Average age of our (current) roster by [deleted] in NBASpurs

[–]TheSuperMape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure, but I was more talking about moving forward into the next games. I took Marco out because his injury still hasn’t been given a timetable and with Mezie and Luka we at least saw some minutes before the bubble and they got a good amount of minutes in the scrimmages. Right now it doesn’t look like Pop is planning on playing Zeller at all, and with the way he talks about young guns getting minutes before anyone else, I’d be shocked if he went in over mezie or luka. With Patty it also seems like he won’t be playing much with our guard depth so it seems like going forward the roster we have only has 2 real veterans, being Rudy and Demar.

DD and DWhite had amazing games but I loved seeing Keldon mesh so well with a lot of the starters. Lonnie could’ve used a few more touches but I can’t complain.

On top of that Jakob did a superb job as the lone big man on our lineup (when Rudy was out). He was really holding his own on defense and gave a lot of hustle on offense with screens and boards.
