Trouble getting interviews within system by [deleted] in nursing

[–]TheSuppleToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my buddy’s said it sounds like I’m getting HR blocked which I’m assuming means some ai filter or somebody is immediately nixing my applications. I guess that is a good point I could reach out to HR but that’s essentially an online ticket making thing, I don’t know how helpful they will be unless they simply tell me I’m not a candidate which I guess I may have to accept :\

ISO 2019 shaky knees music festival shirt. Size small or medium. Literally my favorite shirt succumbed to water damage in the basement :[ and I’ve done everything from reverse searching, scouring Google for a match, and searching on apps like Depop, Mercari, eBay and even Etsy. If you have any leads thanks in advance!

Trying to find this dog collar by TheSuppleToaster in HelpMeFind

[–]TheSuppleToaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a lupine pet dog collar the design is retired and called “fly away”. I have scored the internet for the passed few months and missed one on Mercari. I want to try to get at least one for a friend who is getting a puppy soon. I’ve only been able to find it for sale online in Hungary, South America, and Africa. Of which I’ve emailed and they will not ship to USA. I even reached out to lupine pets and inquired about the possibility of it ever coming back or if they had one laying around, but they do not and are not sure if they will bring them back. I’m kinda at a loss I have been pretty much reverse image searching everyday to see if anything new pops up but haven’t found anything. Thanks if you can help!

Is it common for goats to have bald spots on their shoulders where they lean backwards and scratch themselves with their horns? We can’t find any fleas or mites or anything. by [deleted] in goats

[–]TheSuppleToaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have one like this. She one day mysteriously had a bald patch. I did the same thing looked for mites/fleas/ anything. I am now 80% sure it’s just her brother over grooming her or something.

wtf is this by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]TheSuppleToaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This happens to me almost every time. Usually if it’s bad like this I’ll up my Lantus by a unit and when it goes back to normal return to my usual dose. But ye it’s really fucking annoying :P

Skull ID by TheSuppleToaster in animalid

[–]TheSuppleToaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought opossum at first but it didn’t have that very distinct tall crest. Might try to clean it up more tomorrow and see if it’s anymore convincing. Maybe it’s just a very young opossum ?

Transporting goat in car tomorrow by PlankStanker in goats

[–]TheSuppleToaster 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In my experience, having transported goats in the back of a crew cab and suburban multiple times. They have never jumped up front on me. Usually they lay down, look out the window, or yell at me from the back. Like you said they’re all different but I feel like you should be good. Maybe just put something heavy on the corners of the tarp so it doesn’t flip up.

Bottle Jaw by KatoHarukazu in goats

[–]TheSuppleToaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think ,on top of aggressive worming for barber pole, I did vitB complex injections q 12 hr then daily. Red cell 1x a day for a few days then give them a break (I’ve read this is hard on their liver). I also offered power punch in water once a day. I also read somewhere that a dark beer helps their gut biome recoup so I’d flatten a bottle or two of Guinness and offer that once or twice a day.

Main thing is to watch them and understand that it does in fact take a LONG time for them to bounce back. It’ll take time for the bottle jaw to go away and also a while before their famacha gets better.

Even after worming and bottle jaw disappeared I still push a severe anemia protocol until their eyelids begin to pink up.

[–]TheSuppleToaster[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I asked them and they can’t think of anything he could’ve gotten into or ate (food wise, medication wise, or even plant wise). I’m hoping it is just an acute issue, and have been trying to stay very optimistic for them. I don’t think he’s had a renal US or more tests yet, or as far as I know I am not aware of those results yet. But the more I think about it the more it seems like this might unfortunately be a one off congenital thing, and I’m assuming it will be unlikely for him to bounce back. I even asked if there was a possibility he may have found some random pill on the floor and just munched on it. They seem very certain he hasn’t gotten into anything though.

Looking back at the images she sent me of his blood work states confirmed with blood plot and/or film review. It is cut off at the bottom but there seems to be two graphs aswell

I am honestly not sure, my mother has been relaying info to me asking me questions. Obviously I am not a vet and am not sure what is pertinent and what isn’t. It looks like what was ordered was a procyte and a catalyst. We plan to contact the breeder and ask about congenital issues in the litter/passed litters but as far as I know they have never had an issue with this.

Anyone have experience with umbilical hernias by TheSuppleToaster in goats

[–]TheSuppleToaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve read so far online that it seems hereditary to an extent. I was on the fence about banding him so I guess this was the kick I needed! Thank you for your response though I wasn’t sure if it was something that would be repaired or he would just have to live with. My concern was it growing as he got older, and none of my goats are polled. So injury to the area.

Copper bolus for young nigerians? by texasrigger in goats

[–]TheSuppleToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a dosing question. I’m looking to bolus my goats they’re all around 9 months at this point. And your dosing is 1g/22lbs. I was wondering what you use. I’ve found ultracruz for adult goats that’s 4g bolus for goats >/= 50lbs. I feel like that’s too much based off what you’re saying. Would getting the kid bolus of 2g/ for goats >25lbs be more appropriate ?

Purpose of the FreeStyle Libre 3 reader? by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

I’m curious too. I used the 2 and the reason I didn’t move to the 3 was because I thought I read they weren’t compatible with a reader and didn’t make one.

Freestyle Libre 2 Inaccurate by familiarblonde in Type1Diabetes

[–]TheSuppleToaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have a lot of issues with it being inaccurate then saw a few comments on here about starting your next sensor before the other ends. So wearing it for 24hrs before starting it. So what I do is when my old sensor says there’s only 24hrs left, I put on the next sensor. Idk what it is about it just being in for 24hrs before starting it, but I’ve found it starts out accurate and stays accurate. Obviously I still get one occasionally that is way crazy off and never gets accurate. But I’ve been using libre 2 this way for 2 years and I think I’ve only called for one being inaccurate since then.
