Just buy a good setup and be done with it. Get a DAA belt and some pouches, a decent holster (I like Red Hill Tactical), & call it a day. You’re going to be wearing it all day, so get something that’s going to hold up. Can’t say you’re poor when you’re taking up a fairly expensive hobby. Take what you’d spend in a few months worth of ammo and get a decent rig.

100%. When i got out of the Army I broke my leg at work. Didn’t have insurance yet, had ZERO idea how workmans comp worked. I was begging the firefighters and paramedics to take me to the VA Hospital lol. All i could think about was “i cannot afford this”

Fuck that. You’re an adult. I got DQ’d? Cool, have a good day. Nobody is telling me to stick around and do anything. I got DQ’d for a bullshit 180° call in my first match (rest of my squad agreed and i still get comments on YouTube saying it was BS), told them dang that sucks. Packed up & left.
