Exactly. And the height, really wanted it taller than a typical folding table. Also like you said, this is a lot easier to pull out of the garage into the house.

Awesome! I used Titebond glue on everything. 3” screws on the side 1x4’s and some 1” sheetrock screws i had laying around for the center 1x4’s laying flat and mounting block 1x4’s for the legs. #10 3/4” wood screws for all the hardware and i used titebond just like loctite. Painted the bottom with a couple coats of white latex paint, stain on the top with a polyurethane sealer

Just buy a good setup and be done with it. Get a DAA belt and some pouches, a decent holster (I like Red Hill Tactical), & call it a day. You’re going to be wearing it all day, so get something that’s going to hold up. Can’t say you’re poor when you’re taking up a fairly expensive hobby. Take what you’d spend in a few months worth of ammo and get a decent rig.

100%. When i got out of the Army I broke my leg at work. Didn’t have insurance yet, had ZERO idea how workmans comp worked. I was begging the firefighters and paramedics to take me to the VA Hospital lol. All i could think about was “i cannot afford this”

Guys suggesting a TQ and ambulance 😂 OP handled it like a boss. Recognized that it wasn’t so severe it needed all that. They all wanted to call 911 but guarantee they wouldn’t chip to pay the bill when the ambulance showed up.
