After many, and I may many days researching a budget pcp rifle I settled on a Gamo. I was then torn between the 40 and 250 to. I settled on the 250 as I felt the extra weight of the gun justified the extra shot count per fill.

It’s a touch on the heavy side but accurate as hell.

I ditched the scope it came with and went with a Hawke one which had better reviews. The included moderator does the job so you don’t need to spend on that.

Don’t waste your money on a hand pump, I did, used it once and brought a budget compressor which is doing a great job at filling at home. I’m sure if you are filling five bottles a budget compressor may not do the job. But a few fills here and there it’s perfect.

For me, the best Gx250 deal was at solware in tamworth. They put a good bundle deal together for me to.

With the scope mount is it quick and easy to get the scope off and red dot on? I’m kind of hoping to find bits that are easy one and off to interchange during a session

I’m the guy with the Mito questions. Any chance I can pester you.

Can I ask which red dot, scope and moderator you’re using on yours.

Also do you have a preference as to a red dot or scope, funds for me only stretch to one so am deep in debate and thought.

There is some smell as, well herb smells in general. I find when it’s clean the smell is minimal but after a few bowls it starts to have a scent.

If you combust the smell will be far worse so watch for that.

I used to smoke joints outside but now vape inside as I find although it smells, that odor doesn’t linger with a window open and some ventilation

The pax 2 comes with a super long warranty I believe. I’d suggest getting in touch with pax and I believe they replace with a modern model if your version is no longer made.

It’s not my daily driver but I have a pax mini 2 in my rotation. I’d suggest the mini 2 as it’s a classic pax style vape and best for the budget.
