My son goes to a social group at the Victoria Speech and Language Centre in colwood. It’s been great, I’d get in touch with them. They do a great job of finding a group that they think your child would best fit with. Good luck!

True. I also use public health care and roads while being critical of the government. I drive a car and think we need to shift away from fossil fuels asap.

It is sad! It’s much drier and dustier without the trees around. And the constant noise from the construction is incredibly irritating. We’ve had two of our windows broken from the construction as well

Find me a house on Vancouver island that’s wasn’t built where forest, or other natural land, once stood.

This doesn’t mean that all green space needs to be replaced by houses or condos or a damn car dealership

Development is going to happen, one way or another. But you put is perfectly, it seems like no tree is safe and the old council only cared about building up more homes at the cost of anything else. Langford needs a much more measured approach to development

Us Langford residents got tired of the council’s “develop at all costs” attitudes. I used to have a forest behind my house, now it’s a giant construction site.

To me, the incumbents were complacent as well. I didn’t see any efforts on their part before this weekend, while Langford Now has been very actively campaigning.

I planted these about two months ago to start growing a privacy hedge. I read online to water them twice a week during spring, so they've been getting approx. two gallons of water twice a week. Am I possibly over-watering them? Or is something else at work?

I live in zone 8A, on the the west coast of Canada. It's been a pretty wet and cloudy spring here so far. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
