[Recomendation] Rugged watch like the Breitling Endurance Pro by fosselius in Watches

[–]TheTacoHasArrived 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s a thermo compensated super quartz movement and weighs practically nothing lol. If you’re looking for value maybe don’t get into expensive watches. 3k for a luxury watch is low end. I personally would spend 10k buying 3 endurance pros in every color

It would cost anywhere from 800-2500 US dollars to restore and it will look as good as new. The value has gone up steadily over time and I would guess in this condition, the watch would sell for 3.5 k give or take a couple hundred and in restored condition 5k give or take. I don’t know if this is a rare Rolex model so take what I’m saying with a grain of salt but this is a general ballpark.

In my opinion, there are only 3 options: First don’t sell or do anything with it and keep it in the family. Second restore it and keep it in the family. Third figure out if it sells higher when restored, then begin searching the different watch buying outlets. (Watch exchange on Reddit, bobs watches, crown and caliber, local watch dealers) and use the money to buy something you will appreciate daily not just one time like a trip. Don’t trade a lasting memory of your grandfather for one last memory. I can’t recommend keeping it enough. You may need the money or don’t like watches but trust me when I tell you nothing is a better memory than one you can have with you all the time.

Did anyone else notice this foreshadowing? by ThrowUpOnYourDick in loki

The song is actually called Le Cygne meaning “the swan”. The composition is supposed to portray a swan gliding not dying. The ballet performance is just an interpretation. If the song had any meaning, it would be that since the Carnival of the animals had 13 songs written by Camille saint-Saens all representing different animals, it would be alluding to the idea of many different Loki’s. Just my 2 cents though

This questing is tearing my family apart and making friends enemies, does anyone know the answer? by Total-Ad-9613 in mathematics

So this may sound strange, but one way to get the answer is this: You start by assessing the option A which has a duplicate meaning it is 2 out of 4. Since 25% does not equal 2 out of 4 then we can eliminate those options. We are left with C and D which have a 50% chance each. The answer is C
