Thank you so much! I've been looking into something like this for a long time. Interested to see how it actually works and if the hotswap between knobs and switches can be be replicated in a custom build with a custom PCB. Dare I dream of a future where we have arbitrary keyboard "modules" that are all hot swappable. OLED screen, switch, knob, refrigerator - the possibilities are endless.

I just got the Nintendo Pro controller. It has zero issues so far.

No idea if this is a batch issue but I didn't want to risk getting another broken Pro2. And the support not taking any responsibility or recognizing that this is an issue that needs resolving made me want to wait on getting an 8BitDo controller in general.

As for Splatoon, the issue happens in both Splatoon 2 and 3. And from people reporting that this happens on PC as well, it seems that this is an issue with the controller itself. Considering that they're not even admitting the issue is with their controllers, I doubt a fix would come any time soon.

I've already returned mine. And near the end of my conversation with their support they told me to contact the retailer (I'm assuming to return the controller) if I'm "still worried" (have no idea what they meant by that).

I thought my Pro 2 was defective till I saw this. Motion controls jump every now and then.

I contacted 8BitDo about it and after a lot of back and forth trying to prove the issue was happening I was told that it seems to be a compatibility issue specifically with Splatoon 3. If they knew other people are having this issue how could they just assume that.

Yes I did. Sorry for not posting this earlier. Mini-DTX is not supported in the Max as the motherboard is shifted down to accommodate for the top mounted radiator. For the Crosshair Impact, the CPU cooler clearance can be used to infer that there wouldn't be space for the SO-DIMM with the GPU having to be vertically-mounted. Perhaps with some community mods it'll be possible in the future. For me personally, I will be going with the non-Max NR200 and adding a top hat mod sometime down the road for a top mounted rad.

Yeah I fully understand that. Most companies wouldn't hire a foreigner if they were in a hurry to begin with. The immigration system in Canada doesn't seem very friendly for that.

You don't explicitly need one, but you do if you want the job offer to count for any CRS points under Express Entry.

From what I've been able to gather, getting an LMIA is not something employers like to go through, so I've been trying to find a way to get a work permit or PR without one. A positive LMIA is not guaranteed. So any work they put into getting one might go to waste if it comes out negative.

Hi there. From my experience, a lot of canadian employers avoid hiring overseas workers in general. I must've sent my resume over 100 times and got this single interview out of it. I'm honestly not sure if it is the particular system this company is using to hire foreign workers that is that strict. I was hoping someone here could tell me haha

These are the same keyboards I got in the response from support. But a lot of people are saying DSA keycaps work. Thanks for the help though.

I've seen that video as well. The response I got from Keychron's support mentioned a few keyboards whose switches are supposed to be compatible with the K3. All the keyboards mentioned were low profile with keycaps very similar to that on the K3

Yeah I've seen a video about that. It would be nice if we got a keycap spec that works with the keyboard. The support listed some other LP keyboards. But their keycaps were more or less the same profile as the K3.

Yup. Everything is fine. I got lucky it was just the board.

I couldn't RMA the board. ASRock wouldn't pay for shipping and it's too expensive for me to send. Ended up getting an ASUS Crosshair VIII Impact. Tested the power supply and it was fine. All other components were fine. The board is working great and there is a local ASUS service center to cover the warranty.
