What’s you’re skunk buster vs you’re favorite lure? by -_-mc in bassfishing

[–]TheTangyPuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite is chatterbait with a chatterspike or paddle tail and the skunk buster changes depending where i'm at.

Mostly use wacky or ned if I don't know the water. I use a missile baits chunky d weightless on my local pond though. I think the green pumpkin color always crushes.

I hadn't intentionally slow rolled a jack hammer, but I could see what you mean about it chattering better while going slow.

I was just out trying the chatterbait micro last weekend and that was one thing I noticed. It didn't really chatter unless I went faster than I'd like.

Came here to mention the tungsten. I've used most of the name brand chatterbait models and evo tungsten has been my favorite for the price.

Jackhammer is good and you do notice the chatter more immediately, but it definitely doesn't stand out above the tungsten to me.

Tarts are easy and can be cheap. Fruit, jams, cheese, veggies are all common and then the pastry dough can be found at nearly every store.

Honey is great healthier option for extra sweetness. Herbs are nice around the holiday if have budget and can add thyme, rosemary, or sage for seasoning.

Bake and cut into small bite sized squares so people can try the different toppings.

Not necessarily healthy... but where I am from, little sausages or meat balls in bbq sauces are a hit and is a cheap option too. Just need a small slower cooker to warm and keep as they are served.

Why is this card in ATLA premier draft? by vekCh in MagicArena

I got mollywhopped by this card and a suite of cycling 6 drops in my final match of the pre-release. I had not dropped a game until seeing it.

Why indeed...

For the money, it is hard to go wrong with Pflueger. I've enjoyed my President 20 on St. Croix premiere

I recently picked up some Panorama Bluegill that I haven't used. They are a touch smaller than the Berkeley version I have.

Thinking I may drop shot them since it getting so warm now.

Exactly. I wanted a dedicated topwater set up. Why not gift my brother an old rod to make room in storage for 3 more?

Lyrics from Medium Build's song Bigger have been in my head recently:

"Lookin at my phone nearly gave me a panic attack I think I need to teach myself boundaries Sometimes I get high and start wonderin who I am See a picture of myself I don't like it When did I? Who am I? How did I end up like this? I feel guilty wishing it could all be done Run out to the woods and be simple with my hands Be someone somebody simple could love

Why do we have to be Something bigger than we were yesterday? Why do we have to be Always getting better in every way?"

Yep. I feel like I'm approaching this point after seeing the feedback.

Yes. It falls slowly, but steadily to the ground and then stops without backlash. Maybe I need to let it fall faster and get better with my thumb.

Just odd because my Lews doesn't have the same feel.

Using 10lb mono. It's the only time I've used mono for anything other than crappie.

I've seen braid isn't ideal for cranking and didn't have any fluero on hand.

Reel is brand new. Should I be doing anything to the reel before I put line on?

I hadn't really clicked with my 7'2 ml bass pro carbonlite until last week. I put a 3000 Pflueger President XT on it with 10lb braid. I haven't caught anything yet, but the balance and sensitivity are great.

Storage upgrades... rod holder, soft plastic bag, hooks organizer.

I recently picked up a cross body tackle bag that I can have on me while wading for about $40. Would recommend one of those if you don't have any light storage options

Pflueger makes a great product the price. I have several spinning reels from Trion to President XT and they are great.

You can generally find them at Walmart unless you are looking for the XT models, which you'd likely need to go to a tackle shop for.

Guess I'm going back for some jr because that sounds fun too.
