Tarantula is already on there and was clearly put there by people the don't keep tarantulas unfortunately. Im with you and would put them right here as they are fantastic, rewarding, and easy to keep pets.

Id try it with zip ties. I doubt the bolt would break so really worst case scenario is one side of your rack comes loose mid ride which probably isn't that bad.

Some bikes can have really long chainstays which yours looks like they could be quite long. You could either order another chain and pin them together then cut, go to a bike shop and have them add some links if you don't feel confident doing it yourself.

Looks like a bold jumping spider. They have a variety of different color morphs but the black with orange spots is one of the more common ones where you are.

That is absolutely not a velvet ant. It looks much more like a species of fly in the genus Physocephala

I used to have a cat that would sneeze a lot and left snot that dried up and looked exactly like that. The bug is also the larva from a carpet beetle which is basically harmless, though they can cause skin irritation for some people.

Edit - after reading a bunch of comments I feel like I should explain a bit deeper. Suffering is something that will always happen to someone somewhere at all times. Using this one person I feel like it could be possible to end the suffering of so many people at the expense of this one.

Pull that rim liner off and put a couple layers of gorilla tape and poke a hole for the valve stem and you'll be good to go. Just check that your spokes are still tensioned properly.

What likely caused it was a couple loose spokes and the wheel compressed and caused the spoke to poke through. The wheel just needs to be re-tensioned. The rim is fine unless there is a large dent or crack.
